Dead on arrival
Ordered for a 2004 Mazda 3, had shop install and they promptly called me telling me the compressor doesn’t work and won’t take a charge. Advised me to return it, had to pay labor for them to tell me it’s a dud

Unbalanced pulley
This is the 3rd compressor I ordered from Amazon. The 1st one worked for 1,500 miles before the coil burnt. The 2nd one I wasn't able to install because the bolt holes literally cumbled. This one looks like an updated version, HOWEVER the pulley is visibly, clearly unbalanced out of the box! UPDATE: After trying my best to balance the pulley, I finally installed it. It is working. Time will tell if this will last! ALSO it's worth mentioning that it's not very powerful; at 95F ambient it could only manage to pump the high-side to 200psi maximum while dropping the low-side to only 50psi. r134a at 95F ambient, the high-side should pump way above 200psi (250+), while sucking the low-side all the way down to 30-40psi. I'm not sure if it's related to the unbalanced pulley and maybe making the clutch slip (I couldn't hear anything wrong so I assume it's not slipping), or its just the pump is not very powerful to pump the high-side above 200psi. I will try to get my hands on a reconditioned OEM and see if it performs any different.

Seems to be good so far
Well so far it’s working. The old compressor I took off was seized so I replaced the condenser, expansion valve and flushed the lines. You could see metal bits in the expansion valve.
