Tamiya Is My Go-To Model/Hobby Paint Brand
Been building models all my life off and on, and also customizing action figures.I prefer Tamiya Acrylics to other hobby paints (Testors, etc.) for the most part, however finding them locally is a chore. Local hobby stores don't all carry a full in-stock supply, and forget chains like Michaels or Hobby Lobby for GOOD hobby paints like these. The best you get there are Testors or cheap acrylic craft paints.Tamiya has the adhesion properties I like, especially for moving parts on models and customized action figures. They have a wide array of colors and finishes to pick from as well, and they airbrush nicely once you learn how to thin them properly. They also clean up well.Being able to come in, stick a bottle of the color I need into another bulk order and get free shipping is great. I couldn't be happier, and the price was right on (or better) than if I'd bought local!

Revised review: This IS a 23ml bottle and not a mini pot
Tamiya makes the best paint and I am going against my own rules complaining about the website's bogus presentation of the product instead of the product itself. This is a "mini" sized pot, 10ml not 23ml. Nowhere on the page does it state this!Postscript: Amazon took care of me. So this moves from one star to five stars as I love Tamiya's paints. Be careful to read the item numbers!

Always a good buy
I build a lot of German armor. And since most German armor especially late period. came out of the factory already painted in dark yellow as a base color I go through a lot of this. And I've been a fan of Tamiya paints for over 30 years. One of the things I really appreciate is they work well in an airbrush without having to thin them.

Excellent Paint, but Far Too Expensive on Amazon
Tamiya is the benchmark, the standard for me in modeling products. The paint should cost under $3. The product is definitely 5 stars.

Tamiya paint goes on flawless with either a brush or airbrush. Best part is you can use it right from the jar. No mixing to get it thin enough to use in an airbrush.Delivered fast and was a good price. Perfect for German WW2 vehicles.
