Yes, Esther, you would be able to connect the JBL Boombox 2 with a 3.5mm Aux cable to your computer. The 3.5mm Aux-In port is located on the back of the speaker, underneath the back flap. I hope this helped answer your question!

It's more powerful so expect louder sound, and they have changed to what is now called party boost. That means it will not work to connect to older JBL series with JBL connect +, design has changed with a bit of a sleeker look. If you own previous JBL product that use connect + and something that you think you would utilize that is one way. If this is your first product for portable speakers totally worth it so you can use the newer products together coming out. Hopefully this helps. Does the volume decrease when the battery is low like the sony srs-xb31?

Yes. It definitely takes a quality hit when battery is <15%. One thing I don't see much about. If you are able to have it plugged in while playing music, the speaker's output goes up by 20 or 25 more Watts. It gets a bit louder and there's a noticeable increase to the bass when plugged into the wall. Makes it sound better overall I think. Outdoor mode sounds better as well. Indoor mode sounds flat, or restrained maybe.
