Water Wax

If you are like me and have super curly hair, this product is great for a strong hold without the miserable feeling that your hair is a piece of plastic. Easy to wash out with water, and a nice finish.

Did not preform on my hair as I hoped. Stayed too soft.

If you previously used Redken 03 Water Wax, or Kenra Platinum 4 (both discontinued), this is an excellent replacement that may actually be better than both. Just the right amount of hold and shine, with minimal scent.

I bought this stuff just in the spirit of trying my options of water waxes. This one has a super hold. I work 12 hour shifts in a tire plant. My machine has industrial fans on both end blow down from above head level. My hair has not move yet after ten hours. Usually by now with the other brand I was using my hair would be all over the place. I like it

The water wax was great texture and performance wise but the smell is so overpowering I could not use the product

The product I was using is no longer available (don’t you just hate that?). So I did some research to find something comparable and it was Fat Boy! It isn’t sticky and gives my hair the lift and shine I like. I get many compliments on my hair because it gives it fullness without the stickiness. Good job, Fat Boy! 😃

I have been looking for a water wax but hard to find. I think this is going to work. Just started using it.

I love this product but it is now different than it used to be. It's usually a translucent sea foam green color that spreads easily in the palm of your hands. This stuff is clear and more like a gelatin that rolls into balls and you have to work to get it to smooth out before applying it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was a bad batch and ordered again, same thing. I won't be ordering it again from Amazon.
