Flexible 8ft Rubber Residential Mulch Borders - 6in Tall - Brown (Minimum Order 8)

The rubber boarder looks amazing for our kids playground set. They worked well and once we figured out installation it went smoothly. There were no instructions. We had to buy an extra long attachment for our drill gun, but once we had that it went well. We used a rubber mallet to hammer in the stakes. You need to drill completely through the boarder.

The border gives a beautiful finishing touch to the play area. It is also sturdy and heavy; very high quality. I wish it had a little smoother finish; it looks like kids could get a brush burn if they fall on it the wrong way. Also, be prepared to drill your own holes in the border to secure it with the stakes. It was easy to drill, but we had to purchase a long enough bit to drill through the height of the border section.

I'm reordering as my playset area has gotten larger. No reservations about a 5 star rec here. After two years of south Dakota winters/Summers and a move that included taking these borders I have nothing but positives to report. The color has stayed the same and they moved well. I had other borders that didn't move well as they had become very brittle and broke apart at stress points. They are tall enough to allow for enough rubber nuggets to be placed to effectively reduce injury in case of falls. Shorter heights would likely be ineffective at holding enough chips in or wouldnt be enough to matter.
