Transcend 32GB JetFlash 700

Hi readers, I got this device just to make myself a secure blowfish encrypted debian pocket OS with these criterias in my mind. #1. Portable - yes portable, very much portable. #2. Light weight - yes very light weight, compared to carrying a hdd or ssd. #3. Fast - Yes its usb3.0 so it works with usb 2.0 as well. #4. value for money - yes, carrying this in wallet or around the neck or as a wrist band is much better than carrying a HDD/SSD. pros - design : sleek speed - fast (i dont have the IO values right now), but works fast even with heavy encryption like blowfish. impressive. safe - yes, but they could make the case a little tough. cons - packaging - i hope they could bring more creativity and imagination in packaging the shell. because its hard to put the latch. works well with debian wheezy/jessie, root encrypted with twofish 256 bit plainxts with full disk encryption. and i see minimal lag, this is the same lag i see with my magnetic HDD and also SSD. but as of now the drive is working nice and upto his full capacity and capability. but the pen drives are notorious to die off quickly. i hope it doesnt die as quickly as my other pen drives and also the speed is like this for a long time. over all nice device to play and work with. and if you are into IT as an admin. and you need to worry about safety and security and carry data along with you then this device does the job. install it, fill it with data and forget it. it will work (provided you dont lose your drive). hope this helps. thanks! -paul

I Have A Xbox 360 E 4GB & I Specially Buy This To Play GTA 5 After A Couple Of Search I Found This Transcend Jetflash 700 32GB Pen drive To Store 8GB Mandatory Installation Of GTA 5 And It Should Take Around 15 Minutes To Install Which Is Pretty Quick In My Opinion. Talking About The Pen drive Is A USB 3.0 Device But It Should B Compatible With USB 2.0 And It Gave A Good Amount Of Read Speed And Fully Compatible With My Xbox 360. Looks & Build Quality Wise Jetflash 700 I Will Give U A Big Thumps Up It Does not Look Cheap. IF U R LOOKING FOR A PENDRIVE TO USE AS A STORAGE DEVICE ON XBOX 360 SO CLOSE YUR EYES & BUY IT HEARTLY.....!!!!!

Storage capacity only in 28.4GB

I bought the Transcend Pendrive around 10 yrs back recently it's stopped working, again I bought another Transcend Pendrive. No words to say it's so light weight than my previous one. Speed is good. Everything is perfect.

I purchased this transcend pen drive and it got corrupted unable to read and write in pe drive. I requested RMA support from transcend but still no response recieved from them.

This is a very good product at its cheap price... i got it in Rs. 825. In USB 2.0 it's writing speed up-to 14 Mbps and coping up-to 32 Mbps.. I get it today... But i am not happy due to actual storage capacity.. :( .. It's just 29.4 GB. THUMBS UP : SPEED. THUMBS DOWN : STORAGE CAPACITY. AND looking forward for the warranty for the PRODUCT. FOR, AMAZON INDIA, I am very happy for the delivery type and product safety... i get it in very good condition. THANK U.. :)

The Transcend 32GB JetFlash 700 Super Speed USB 3.0 Pen Drive (Black) met with my expectations. Previously i had Sandisk Ultra 32 GB USB 3.0. The speed compared to sandisk ultra is good. I have experienced double the difference. As per the looks it not that attractive compared to Sandisk. The shipping was fast enough! Got it delivered with 48 hrs of placing order. Speed ratings - Write speed - 15mbps Read speed - 30mbps Not the fastest PD in the market but useful.
