A good quality bag. I don't understand one thing, why doesn't it close? Okay, is it expensive or troublesome to sew in a lock, but can I put a button there? The bag should close. And that will help keep its shape. Otherwise, when I put the bag down, it falls apart shapelessly and everything inside spills out. I kept it for myself because I liked it. And the shoemaker next door promised to put a couple of buttons on it to give the bag a finished look.

Just what I was looking for. Wide enough for my laptop to fit. My only concern is the handle; feels flimsy and could break over time.... we'll see I guess.

This is a beautiful bag for just the right person. It's a large size - larger than most pocketbooks, but smaller than luggage. It is fabric, so it's not durable like leather, but it's certainly elegant, and of good quality. We gave it to our daughter in law and she loves it.

This bag looks better in person. I thought it would be a little too dark based on the photos, but it was a little lighter than pictured. The quilted fabric is very durable, so I do not worry about the bag getting messed up for my intended use, which is for beach trips. Though it is not a huge tote, it is roomy, but does not have compartments. You would need a purse insert if you like to have pockets. The handle and length of the strap is comfortable.

My wife absolutely loves how it looks—soft, stylish, and lightweight, with plenty of room inside for all the daily essentials and then some. It’s large—really large—so if you’re the type who likes to carry “just in case” extras, this bag’s got you covered. The wide opening makes it easy to toss things in and go, and the dog clip in the middle helps pull the sides in for a neater profile. There’s no zipper, but the open design works well for quick access. There’s also a little carabiner inside that at first made us think it was missing a shoulder strap—but once you feel the fabric, you realize it’s better this way. A shoulder strap might be too much stress on the material. It’s great for light to moderate daily carry, but this isn't the bag to load with a dozen bricks—or three water bottles and a laptop. Overall, the quality is everything you’d expect from Kate Spade. It feels high-end, looks beautiful, and has just enough structure to keep its shape without being stiff. My wife’s thrilled with it. While I may still be her go-to backrub specialist, she’s happy something else can help carry the load now and then. Highly recommend—just don’t overpack it. Let it be the pretty, spacious, easy bag it was meant to be.
