Shaving products from Proraso are awesome. Shaving would never be same again

I am using this pre-shave for a couple of months now. At beginning, I had to get used to the strong scent of camphor. Now, the strong scent has reduced.

I'm quite amazed at all the positive reviews. I found this product to be redundant, quite useless in fact. Smells of camphor and menthol . Used as intended - massaged to damp skin before applying shaving cream. Did not make any noticeable difference to the shaving experience, rather added an extra useless step. No improved slickness while shaving. Has a mild numbing / overly cooling effect from that may mask some razor burn, but when using a good shaving cream and razor, this is not required, rather the cooling sensation is undesirable especially in colder weather. Overall, I feel this product belongs in the past and is not required or useful today. Proraso has failed to impress me especially at the price point the products are available in India. I ordered their after shave too which though is low sting, has a v mild fragrance that evaporates within seconds! My two cents - Look elsewhere to get your money's worth.

I am applying it on daily basis just before having shave it is really refreshing. I feel shaving has gone smoother after starting using it.

THOUGH PRODUCT SEEMS TO BE GOOD BUT ITS QUITE HARD AND NOT CREAMY IN NATURE. WHEN YOU TRY TO PUT ON FACE DUE TO HARDNESS IT BREAKS AND SOMETIMES IN NAILS AND SOMETIMES SPREAD ACROSS. I WAS DISAPPOINTED AS I HAD BIG EXPECTATIONS FROM PRODUCT. MAY BE OLD PRODUCT WAS SOLD TO ME.

Can't think about others except me.

I needed new shaving soap and looked at Proraso. I saw that customers also used pre shaving cream, something I had never done before. I was initially drawn to the beautiful packaging as I love Italian design. I also like brands that have been around for a while; Proraso, as I have learned is well established and much loved by barbers around the world with a long history. The overwhelming positive reviews also made me take a punt and click purchase. So is it any good? Yes! The first time I opened the pot I was won over. The smell is divine; clean but not medicinal, fresh and distinctive. I use this as a pre shave cream. I was getting razor burn before and needed something that would soften the bristles. This does that beautifully. It also wakes your face up - not in a burning way, just a lovely invigorating sensation. I apply it ten minutes before I shave and that is enough. Razor burn has become a thing of the past and my face feels alive and refreshed. You don't need to apply much, I think even this 100ml pot will last a couple of months even with a daily shave. If you usually just lather up, I would recommend this as a good way to prepare your face for shaving. A real treat!

Niet twijfelen en meteen 2 kopen. Voor het scheren even insmeren, intrekken en inzepen. Je zult het verschil voelen. Ik gebruik het sinds kort ook direct na het scheren, voor de aftershave. Je gezicht voelt aan als de noordpool. ijskoud, maar wel lekker.

I can see why some get addicted to this product. This pre-shave packs a hefty hit of menthol that makes the eyes water and clears the sinus. It really helps with raising stubble and adds even more comfort to the shave. I'm smitten with it at first use (it was delivered a couple of hours ago) If you like menthol in your shaving routine, get some of this, it's heaven. I paired it with the Proraso Eucalyptus and menthol shave cream and the equivalent aftershave, I'm one very happy convert to this new addition to my routine.

It’s very refreshing and good for Pre share, you can feel the difference .
