Good Bike Side View Mirror
=== Pricing and Left/Right Handle Compatibility === First of all, the price is for one piece of mirror and I bought a pair. The good thing is the same mirror can be mounted on either the left handle or the right handle as long as it's properly adjusted. === Assembly Issues === I was a little concerned about the black plastic inner thread and the metallic outer thread with the metallic nut assembly near the mirror end since I saw people complaining about the durability of the plastic thing. But so far it's ok. But one thing is sure, trying to bend that junction too many times could introduce early worn out. And I definitely don't want to tighten the metallic nut near the mirror end too much in case it strips the black plastic inner thread. Since there is a spring washer between the black plastic and the metallic nut, there is not need to tighten it a lot. As long as that junction does not get loose, it should be ok for normal vibration of the bike. (Mine is a cruiser with no suspensions.) The sheet metal clamp for fixing the mirror to the handle is indeed a bit flimsy but if they are not "flexible enough" it would be difficult to open them before I mount them on the handle. It could be helpful to insert some oil soaked card board layer or rubber sheet to protect the bike handle and to increase the friction. === Usage === (1) Never adjust the mirror when riding. It could distract us. (2) Blind spot still exists, but a lot better than nothing, especially for me to see the cars behind me ahead of time, so that I could "prepare for them"... (3) Never look into the mirrors without paying enough attention to the front! Well it happened to me a few times, but it's very dangerous. So glance it and still pay close attention to everything around as if there is no bike mirror.

Perfect with a modification
This is the mirror I wanted . This isn't a motorcycle mirror but my bars are 1.25 inches which is closer to a motorcycle mirror . I threw away the mount strap or clamp and took a piece of truss reinforcement strapping and drilled two holes in it to the proper size . Then I painted it black . Now it fits on my nice prodeco bike with 31.8 mm bars ( 1.25 inches ) I only needed a vice , common sense and a drill bit the size of the mirror threads plus a few 1/16ths . Most people would of sent it back but thankfully the motorcycle racer in me remembered how to make things work . This is a great bike mirror as long as you can adapt it . It is made for 7/8's bars with no wiggle room unless you too can make your own strap out of something around the house . I looked at a old license plate but thankfully found the 1 inch roll of truss hurricane reinforcement stuff that was very flexible - perfect for the task with two holes drilled in it . Mirror swivels in every possible direction so it can be used on the left or right side . The mirror is great , has another reflector to aid drivers to see you and of adequate size to work on the left hand side so you can see cars approaching as you move in our legal direction which is with the flow of traffic . Very happy with my planet bike light too and cheap sigma computer .

A good little mirror
Out of all the mirrors I reviewed I decided upon this one based on all the comments I read on others. It's a good little mirror but I find I have to move my arm to see if anything is coming from behind which throws my weight off a bit and gets me drifting into the very lane I'm trying to stay out of (!). I'm figuring it's just a matter of getting used to it. I haven't had it for long so I'll have to play with it and see if there's another spot on my handle bar that I can perhaps move it to. It's also awkward to look into the mirror because you're bouncing a bit, unlike a car rearview mirror which is steady. Another reason for drifting (for me anyway). One review mentioned having to use something to help tighten it and I may have to do that as well. The last time I went biking I seemed to have gotten it pretty tight but it can be moved so I'll probably have to work on that in the future. It was a good price and a good start to hopefully staying safe!

Pyramid Deluxe Bicycle Mirror
You can't beat the functionality and appealing appearance of this $5.15 mirror. I initially got it for my 80s vintage Sears Free Spirit bike. It installed easily, and there was even a black cap to place over the exposed part of the screw. On the handlebars of my bike, the ends of the metal bracket bent when I tightened the screw so that the mirror was securely fastened, but there was no harm done and you really couldn't tell the difference. The adjustable mirror mounts nice and low on the handlebar and won't lose its position even on bumpy roads. The glass in the mirror is distortion-free and provides a panoramic rearview. It's great being able to see the vehicles coming up behind me without having to look over my shoulder. I've installed the attractive black and chrome mirror on my new Trek hybrid, and it looks like it came with the bike.

Didn't work on my hybrid bike
I really wanted this to work as the mirror is big and easily attaches to handlebars. I have a hybrid bike with rather flat handlebars. Gear shifts only allow placement about 6 inches in from the end of the bars. With the mirror this far in, no adjustment would allow me to see properly behind me. If I moved around and looked at just the right part of the mirror I could see a bit behind me, but not enough. I would only recommend this mirror if you can secure it close to the ends of the handlebar. I didn't have any trouble making it stay on like others, but it just did not work out for my type bike. Cheap enough that it was no big deal. Trying one that velcroes to the end of the bar now.

GREAT ACCESSORY
I USE THESE ON MY WHEELCHAIR (LOL) SO I WONT BACK UP INTO ANYONE. BUT UNFORTUNATELY THIS ONE WAS A LITTLE SHORT SO I ORDERED A LONGER ONE. THEY WORK GREAT AND ARE SO MUCH MORE ECONOMICAL THAN THE ONES ADVERTISED ESPECIALLY FOR WHEELCHAIRS. THEY ARE SECURE, ADJUSTABLE AND EASY TO PUT ON. IF THE CLAMPS ARE A LITTLE LARGE I SIMPLY WRAP A LITTLE DUCT TAPE UNDERNEATH BEFORE I TIGHTEN THEM. UNFORTUNATELY A FEW WEEKS LATER, THE CLAMP BROKE OFF. I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS SO FLIMSY. I DIDN'T NOTICE IT WAS ALL BENT FROM TIGHTENING ALTHOUGH I DIDN'T USE MUCH FORCE. I DID NOTICE IT WAS GETTING LOOSE OVER THE LAST FEW WEEKS. I AM NOW ATTEMPTING TO RETURN IT BUT AM GETTING NO RESPONSE FROM SELLER. WHAT A SHAME. I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED.

Sunlite Deluxe Bicycle Mirror with White Reflector
This mirror is the best!!!!! Any one looking for a mirror for there bicycle should buy this one. I have a cruiser bike and wanted a mirror to be able to see things behind me. I am so happy with this mirror. I had bought others before and they never worked. This is very well made and functions perfectly. The price is great too. I saw others looking again for a mirror and this is cheaper than all of the ones I thought of purchasing. BUY THIS ONE AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPOINTED. Thanks Amazon for having this product.

Works for me; all I wanted was to see what was behind me and this does the trick
Handy item. I'm just a basic neighborhood peddler but there are two areas where it's important for me to see what's behind me and that has bothered me a lot - kind of taking chances. This little mirror mounted easily and gives me a good view. It didn't cost much and it took care of the rear-view problem. It's stable and I'm satisfied with it. Maybe if I were a heavy-duty bicyclist I'd want something more substantial. Not sure. But for your average rider this works fine.
