Happy To Have A Rare & Nice Tintin Title.

My son wanted it so badly and after month long waiting period finally it arrived at our place. Very good story and good narrative of the story in Tintin series. One should have it in their book shelf. Thank you amazon for finding this book for us.

Book condition is superb came with bubble wrap and was sealed got it within a week , excellent service and delivery by amazon, got it for original price 799 , sold by cloud tail, story wise not a very good story but a good one , has animal violence and bit racism but okay,it's 1930 what else do you expect 😂

This is a collector’s edition and currently quite difficult to get, so was very pleased to get one. It’s a new book and was delivered in pristine condition. I recommend.

It's almost a dream come true. This particular book is not easily available due to it's controversial content. Got this luckily during the Great Indian Sale. I've got 2016 edition printed in Romania.

Found it of good quality and no damages......However, this was priced quite high...... Should not be a problem if you are big fan of reading Tintin comics.......Thanks Amazon.

Received the book in excellent condition for a very reasonable price considering the fact that it is in much demand and sought after.

Bravo to the Casterman publishers for releasing this admittedly controversial volume, and doing it in a style that matches Farshore's volumes. I bought Farshore's paperback box set but was disappointed to find Tintin in the Congo omitted despite its claims of being a complete set so returned it and bought this and Farshore's hardback volumes instead. Other than the logo on the spine and a differently formatted back cover it matches perfectly with the rest. Despite not having a slipcase I think I prefer having lose hardbacks as they remind me of the volumes I read as a child from the library! The author has apologised for the content but sadly some people still judge the book from a smug modern perspective nearly a century after it was published in 1931.

Tintin i Congo skrevs under en tid då synen på kolonialismen förskönades och svarta målades upp som lite mindre intelligenta. Det är en utgåva som skall läsas i sin kontext och ägas av sanna Tintin älskare och hör hemma i en komplett samling. Rekommenderas starkt!

The book was everything (and more) than I expected it to be. Due to the controversial colonial attitude the story portrays, availability of this book is limited, so if you want to complete your collection, I suggest in doing so soon before it is fazed out.

Nice for collecting, came in great shape

The storyline was somehow simple and at some points unbelievable compared to the later series.
