I'm VERY happy with this product. I've given myself a few months to try this shaker out and there's only one thing I can say bad about it but it's really nothing..The bottom of the pint glass looks like there could be a couple cracks in the base but I'm not 100% sure. Everything seems to be holding up after all the cocktails I've made since December. I read reviews before buying this and I think I saw someone say something about how flimsy the tin shaker is but it's not. It's a good grade stainless steel. What I didn't expect was the hawthorn strainer. I was surprised to see the bonus item when I opened it up. This strainer is a cheaper one but it still does the trick. With my purchase I also ordered the OXO strainer which I use instead of the hawthorn just because it's nicer looking and has a nicer feel to it when using it (and it has a larger diameter). I'm very pleased with this product. If it ever brakes I'll be re-ordering the same one! Thank you, seller!

tldr: 5 star quality at a 3 star price!As appears to be a common theme with this product, the quality is excellent. The pieces create an excellent seal and are easy to separate after shaking. The strainer is high quality and it is overall a great product. However it is quite expensive compared to other similar products. The Koriko weighted shaking tins by Cocktail Kingdom (available here http://www.cocktailkingdom.com/set-of-two-korikor-weighted-shaking-tins) are great and about half as much before shipping. Additionally you might be able to create this combination for less by buying directly from Boston Shaker (http://www.thebostonshaker.com). I'll admit that this does not factor in the cost of the strainer, but these can be purchased separately and at a relatively low price. Regardless, if you do decide to buy you will not be disappointed. I've used cheaper shaking tins and these are remarkably better in both weight and seal! Cheers!

5 days after the return date and maybe after using the set 5-6 times, I put ice in to make a drink and the bottom of the pint glass just fell out and shattered into many pieces on the floor. I was barefoot at the time so you can imagine how that went.. don’t buy this product.

Good enough for usual cocktail preparation at home. The glass quality is a bit dull with a visible bubble and a small chip on the rim. it feels heavy and durable, but I don't recommend the mixing glass for display because of poor quality appearance.

I bought this because reviews of other competitors noted the bottom broke after several uses. So I wanted to wait until I've used this for awhile before providing my review. It's been years! And I use this several times a week. I have to say, it still looks brand new. Works great, no issues. Big enough to make a double martini. And no signs of wear. I have no worries about the bottom breaking.I'd buy this again if I needed one. But I don't. It's a tank!

The glass and shaker are nice but the shaker rusts very easy. Bottom of the interior started to rust after first use.

We had a good experience with this company that we want to share. I bought this as a present for my wife who recently took a course to learn how to make martinis. She very much wanted a shaker and glass of the same quality they used in the course. This is a quality product sold by a reputable and responsive company. Here is the story: We received the shaker and glass and were happy with the heavy gauge metal and glass but noted a chip on the inside of the glass. We notified the company who immediately sent a replacement glass with a complementary stirrer and a personal note of apology from the president of the company!!! This company's culture clearly is to be very responsive to customers. Both my wife and I smile when we use this given the excellent product and company support. I would definitely do business with this company again.

Going to try and keep it short but the quality of this is great easily 5 stars. It came with the shaker, the glass, and a strainer. This is great because you toss in an Amazon add on item spoon stirrer and you are good to go.The packaging was solid and smart and the company is great at proactively contacting you to make sure everything is fine. I really got the impression that if you had any issues they would handle it immediately.Why 4 stars not 5?Honestly the price. At the end of the day it's a pint glass and a stainless steel shaker and I think you can get something just as functional for less if you want. At the end of the day I wouldn't change my decision on this purchase and still recommend it though.
