Is this "sturdy bristles chip paint brushes bulk (assorted size)" any different from ordinary chip paint brushes ?

These brushes are in better quality than most chip brushes. I like the fact that they are non-reactive to chemical liquids because there are no metal parts on the brush. The price is about the same as the standard chip brushes and the handle is plastic which doesn’t soak up any oil. The bristles are 100% plastic and don’t contain any animal hair nor metallic material. The brushes also don’t have any nails on them.

Can they be used with acetone?

I used them with Rustoleum paint, (which can be thinned with Acetone). No problem as far as comparability. I do not know it there is a lot of acetone in Rustoleum to start with, and I didn't thin it. As long as you don't expect a nice smooth paint job as with a high quality brush, these brushes worked for me with what I wanted to accomplish ie, just put material down and not be to fussy about the finished appearance.

Has anyone used these chip brushes for applying chalk paint?

I have not but do use them regularly to apply semitransparent exterior stains and they work well being a 'one time' short use brush. I will gladly continue to use them.

Is this product still produced?

Yes, it's only recently that because of some problems with logistics, it will probably take a week for the goods to enter the warehouse. We also have small boxes, I'm not sure which side will be in stock first, you can pay attention to both sides.
