Very comfy from the start
I recently added SORBOTHANE Double Strike Insoles to my old work boots, and after a week of use, the improvement in comfort during my 8-hour shifts has been remarkable. These insoles have significantly enhanced the overall walking experience, reducing the fatigue and discomfort that used to build up by the end of the day.The Double Strike Insoles are designed to provide superior shock absorption, and this feature has been particularly beneficial on hard surfaces. It's like walking on a cushioned path compared to the hard, unforgiving floors I usually traverse. The insoles have a dual-layer construction, with the Sorbothane material in the heel and forefoot areas, which helps distribute the impact more evenly across the foot. Before using these insoles, my feet would feel sore and tired, akin to carrying a heavy backpack all day and feeling the weight on your shoulders. With the SORBOTHANE Double Strike Insoles, it feels like that backpack has been lightened considerably. The arch support is another standout feature, offering stability and reducing the strain on my arches, which has been a game-changer for my flat feet. Moreover, the insoles fit perfectly into my old boots without requiring any trimming, making the installation process effortless. They also seem to enhance the fit of the boots, reducing any unwanted movement and providing a snug, supportive feel.In summary, adding SORBOTHANE Double Strike Insoles to my work boots has significantly improved my comfort during long workdays. The enhanced cushioning, superior shock absorption, and excellent arch support have made walking and standing for 8 hours much more manageable. If you’re looking to revive an old pair of boots and make them more comfortable, these insoles are definitely worth considering.

Helped my heel pain on first use
I suffer from a pain in under my heel and on the first time using these on a walk, the pain was largely reduced. I also found the arch support was very effective and they were very comfortable to wear in my walking trainers. I did not need to trim them to size, but if you needed to, there are clear lines allowing you to do this easily.

Comfortable, but too thick to use in normal sized trainers.
I got these as my daily trainers were losing comfort, due to the amount of walking ive been doing. On paper these looked ideal, and much cheaper than buying a new pair of trainers. When i got them i was impressed…..until i put them in my trainers and tried to wear them. They were much too thick and were really impossible to walk in. So i took the original insoles out (took me about 30mins as they were stuck fast), but even then, just a bit too thick to feel comfortable all day.I tried them in a pair of one size up shoes that i never wear, and they felt better, but as these are one size up i never wear them as they are too lose. So, not sure i can recommend them based on my personal experience. They are in a drawer now and i doubt ill ever be able to use them.

all day comfort
This is the 4th or 5th pair of these that I've bought - and I think I might have already reviewed them! That being said, I'll risk repeating. They have been deployed in my work boots (safety) and shoes (also safety). They are all day comfortable and provide a little bit of lift (I have low ankle bones and these aid that issue). They last 18 months to 2 years of "on my feet all day" before the heels start to break up - not sure if that should be better but it's fine by me.(UPDATE) Today I've just noticed that this has come up on the more expensive Sorbothanes, the one I was reviewing was the "purple" version (about 7 or 8 pounds).I have now got a pair in my "walking" shoes, so a firm fav' (updated) these are the yellow style that the review is attached to. Seem good so far, not had that much use in the 6 months I've had them. They are firmer than the purple version, but still have the "all day comfort" - just not had so many days to give a full review...Just in the process of finding the purple ones to buy and replace my work-boot specimens - how I came to spot the error...

Comfort
They are much more comfortable than basic insolesI step on and off machinery all day long and walk around 23km a day so shoes and insoles play a big part in keeping my feet as comfortable as possibleI find these insoles are very good for heal and arch support but slightly lacking in the ball of the foot area they do a job I'd give them an 8 out of 10 👍
