Good pillow, excellent firmness yet still soft. The thing that could be improved is that it has way too little gel incorporated in the foam. It looks more like they added some blue coloring. Other brands have a much much higher concentration of the cooling gel. So unfortunately this pillow is quite warm.

Over the last two years, I have tried 15 different pillow. I'm highlighting four in this review. When I first opened this pillow by Weekender, I was disappointed at what appeared to be the quality of the foam. I thought it would be useless since it looked like very cheap foam to me (see pictures 1 and 2). Then I tried it and I was impressed. After my first night's sleep, I was sold! It maintains its shape and is a nice size (I got Queen). It definitely needs the holes in it for breathing because it is not a cooling foam at all. It doesn't get warm though and I'm not flipping it all through the night like with other pillows. I have slept on this pillow for 9 days and continue to love it. It has good loft for side sleepers although I have put an old, thinner pillow under it to give me a little more height. Picture 3 shows the 4 pillows I tried most recently, all different types. Picture (pillow #) 4 is the pillow I'm now using - the Weekender. Pillow # 5 is the HE Home and Beauty Memory Foam pillow with a high curve on one side and a lower curve on the other side. The problem I found with this pillow was that my head felt crooked. The large side was too high so it felt like I was choking and the low side felt like my head was sinking/crooked, and the opposing larger side was pushing on the top of my head. Pillow # 6 was the contour memory foam Pillow by Travel Ease which I thought I would love. The neck ramp was amazing. Problem was if you turn at all during the night, you have to be very aware of the position of your head. The wings push on either side of your head, and if you don't get positioned on the wings just right when you turn over to your side, your head "falls" down into the ramp. Positioned just right, it felt great, but too many wake ups during the night to get into a good position. Pillow # 7 is the Beauty Life Solutions shredded memory foam pillow. It has great loft, good quality, but it squishes out during the night so that you end up on a flat surface (see my review on it). By far of these four types of pillow, the Weekender is the best for uninterrupted sleep, despite the look of the foam. It doesn't hurt that it has a 3-year warranty either. Well, this is the pits! I've just noticed there is no place for pictures in this review! Maybe a seller option.

This is the best pillow I've ever had. I used to wake up with frequent neck and back pain and I've tried probably a half a dozen different memory foam type pillows, all more expensive than this one, that didn't resolve the issue. I haven't had those pains since I started using this pillow. It's on the firmer side, which is what I like so it supports your head and neck without sinking into it too far. i'm a side sleeper and it's great. I find it to be very comfortable while sleeping on my side. Another thing I noticed is that since I started using this pillow I'm waking up with much more frequent and stronger erections. I think it's because I'm getting better quality sleep but it's a pretty nice fringe benefit of using this pillow. I'm talking a giant Sequoia peaking out the top of my boxer briefs when I wake up every morning saying hi to my wife beside me.
