Freestyle Lancet Device with Clear Cap

I love this lancet to check my blood sugar. I am not a finger prick type of person due to being sensitive. I prefer my arm for some reason. It does it's job well.

Bought this for a replacement for the one my wife was using that broke after several years of use. It is kind of expensive, but we had a lot of testing supplies so bought this to continue using the regular sized Free Style products. The replacement worked fine and my wife has no complaints. She said this is her fourth lancing device and that the others lasted about two years each.

Am in a nursing home now and I check my sugar level every day...the one that the nursing home gave me to use..was making mark on me, without getting any blood drops...so I send for this one..as I had this one before...it work for me and it very easy to reset, so I can use it again...as I can only use third of my fingers on each hand. It have four number to set it by..maybe it would be nice to have five numbers...it come with two type of covers to do your arm or leg and the other one is for your fingers...but my fingers are bad and anything that touch them hurt me..so I do my leg and that way..not one can see where I get the blood drops from. And the only thing i could wish for..that it come with more lancets to the package..come with only 10... On Amazon...100 lancets for this device cost less then $13.00 if I remember right. And that will last a long time. I could get every thing free...as am over 65...but I will buy this...as I like how it work.🇺🇸

Not as promised; there is no clear cap. Company contacted and states the clear cap is no longer available and they have asked Amazon to change the description but they have not. ???? But the device works great and is the best we have found on the market.

Since I already had an abundance of lancets for the Freestyle system I was pleased to find this original equipment lancet device after mine started failing after many years. These don't seem to be generally available at drugstores by themselves independent of the meter kit so this was a great find. Totally pleased! Edit: Current price is over twice what I paid at the time of the review. I would be less pleased about paying $40

Mine didn't come with the clear cap. That's the one reason i like this device over others. Luckily i was able to use my previous clear cap, but if you lost yours or are a first time buyer you should be aware.

I thought this product was a little expensive until I shopped around the Pharmacies and other online sites. They sent it in a couple of days, it is even better than I expected because of the multiple testing sites. I opened the package took out the product and included in the wee note about how to use the product was a lovely, simple handwritten note saying “thank you Paul?” I will definitely be back for my future supplies From a very satisfied Irishman.

end cap design is poor and subject to cracking. After one year it failed and had to be disposed of. Unexpected in a product that is much more expensive than its peers. Big disappointment.
