I first tried this brand about 7 years ago while living in Atlanta. I had been looking for some plastic wrap that didn't irritate me every time I used it-and all the other brands did just that, no matter how much they cost and no matter where I bought it. When I got this home, I thought I had gone to wrap heaven. This product does what it's supposed to-protect food from air, freezer burn, human touch and whatever. It DOES NOT try to wrap up the person like some vengeful plastic devil. It also does not split along one edge, leaving you with wrap about 60% as wide as you need it to be. Of course that means taking it back to the store and exchanging it. This won't happen with Stretch-tite. The product clings to the food and will cling slightly to itself-it is, after all, a clinging product. But undoing the self-clinging is really easy. If it gets wet, you just have to cut it off and start over. But dry it works MAGICALLY. Even after being in the freezer the wrap can be undone with relative ease. If you try this, you should also get the specially made dispenser.Buy it-Try it-Be happy in wrap heaven. I had seen this product in pro kitchens, restaurants and at caterers for years, but never bought it. I wish I had not waited! It is awesome!I know it's silly to get excited about a plastic wrap, but I really like it when a product does a really good job at what it's supposed to do - and at a very fair price. There is a lot of wrap here for the money, and the 4-pack will keep me in stock throughout the busy holiday baking and cooking season.The quality of the wrap itself is exceptional. I have used almost every name brand and generic wrap out there, and there is no comparison. When you place this wrap on food or a container, it almost looks glass like. It handles well, dispenses well, and keeps my freezer food frost free. Very pleased with the product - thank you Amazon and Stretch-Tite!

It is the best food wrap around. Very easy to use.

I have been using Stretch-Tite for years. Nothing can compare to it's strength and quality. As the name implies you can stretch it over a bowl so that the seal is extra strong. The wrap is much thicker and slightly wider than even big brand plastic wraps. Compare the square footage and price of the most expensive brands, this is a better buy. It used to be hard to find in a supermarket but I just noticed it was available at a local store. I still bought it through Amazon because the price was slightly cheaper and of course no tax or shipping.

I like that it’s easy to unroll and cut. The plastic is durable and clings well.

I have been using stretchtite for over ten years. I joined Costco because it was the one outlet I knew to carry the product. Typical of a Murphy-like existence, my 70-mile drive to the 'local' outlet and Costgo no longer carried the product after my third trip.Hello Amazon.Stretch-tite stuck to everything, never melted against difficult foods, and kept refrigerated items fresh. I have a house full of Phaltzgraff tea rose stoneware and could not be more pleased. Until...At work, a kitchen was commissioned to fulfill the needs of my employees. Not wanting to skrimp on this, I made a massive order on a discontinued pattern from phatzgraff.With this particular line of ware, Stretchtite met its match. The three most popular serving items defy the wraps clinging. The stoneware in this line is more porous than my home set which requires a fight to remove the wrap. Maybe this is why pfaltgraff discontinued the line. (???)That said, Stretchtite rocks, but buy a small sample before you invest in a case. Regardless, there is no wrap on the market that can beat this product. At work, I learned to use more and pull it so it clings to itself.
