Razor 13113614 E300 Electric Scooter - Matte Gray

A neighbor had one of these scooters and we decided to get it for our sons 9th birthday. It is definitely more power than he needed at his size but he can handle it and rides responsibly plus I feel like this scooter will last him for several years of use. It really is a great scooter that can be used by kids all ages and sizes (fun for the whole family). I even have been known to ride it myself and I am 6'4", 220lbs and a mid 40's big kid at heart. This scooter is very well made and heavy. Assembly was super fast and easy when it arrived. Tires are well made and provide a nice soft ride. Handles easy, brakes are very responsive, and acceleration is really fast....this thing is super quick. Have used it for about 6 months now and not showing any signs of losing power or charge. Usually just keep it in the garage and charge it overnight...always trying to unplug it the next morning as sometimes it may go a few days or more without being used. Very happy with this purchase and seems to be the most popular scooter in the neighborhood as a couple other families are now planning on picking them up for their kids over the holidays. My only suggestion is maybe add a cup holder?? Very Good product and lot of fun for the whole family. Always ride with a helmet and proper pads though as this scooter does accelerate quickly and it has a pretty fast top speed.

I'm 160 lbs, I live in Boulder and use this to get to and from classes. The motor is quiet enough that I haven't been bothered by any authorities on campus. It makes it up the hills in Boulder just fine. All I hear while riding it are comments like "I need one of those". No problems thus far. Rode it in heavy rain and didn't find any issues, though things dry out quickly here since the humidity is pretty low most of the time. Haven't tested the range yet, though I easily went 5 miles (up and down hills) on one charge with no noticeable decrease in power. Now that I am convinced I received a good unit, I am going to pimp it out with a cup holder, rear view mirrors, horn, etc... Additional: I rode the scooter around in the flooding we have been experiencing in Boulder, took it through several puddles 3-5 inches deep, etc. The scooter is still functioning normally. Update: I have now replaced the batteries twice (it was my fault they died). My recommendations are: 1. make absolutely sure you always keep the scooter turned off when not in use, leaving it on will kill the batteries. 2. don't store the scooter in a garage because low temps kill the battery. 3. the batteries are not like the ones in your cell phone, ie you don't want to completely drain and then recharge the battery, doing so will kill the battery. The less you drain the battery each cycle, and the less time the scooter spends with a depleted charge, the better and longer the batteries will perform. 4. If the scooter seems sluggish, check the brake line tension, I loosened mine, and I saw a dramatic increase in speed and stamina. Update (Feb 2017): I have now put well over 1,000 miles on this scooter. I recently had to replace the tube of the rear tire, which was a decent sized project, but took the opportunity to clean and lube everything. The scooter is now running like new again, or even better than new. If you take care of this scooter, it will run like a champ for a very long time.

This is a great little scooter, the kids love it and it's powerful enough for me to ride on it (around 200 lbs.). But, I really wanted to post feedback for Amazon an how they handled this order. This was a Christmas present for my son. It arrived about a week before Christmas in a torn box with scratches all over the exposed part of the scooter. I called Amazon and they took care of the situation far above my expectations. I was expecting a hassle to not only return it, but to also get a new one in time for Christmas. I had a new replacement scooter in time for Christmas (actually just 2 days later). The box looked great, so I figured no issues. However, when I was ready to put it under the tree on Christmas eve, the rear tire would not hold air and one of the screws on the deck was put in wrong (at an angle) to where it barely covered the corner of the plate on the deck, so it was only a matter of time before the deck would come lose at that location. So, I contacted Amazon again today (day after Christmas) and they took care of me in the same way they did the first time. I should have a replacement scooter in a few days. I was reluctant to purchase this online in case something like this happened. Normally I would have taken it back to the store for a replacement, but was afraid it would be a major pain to deal with this when I don't have a store to bring it back to. But, Amazon did a wonderful job handling the issues, both representatives I worked with were extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. Most likely the first issue was UPS's fault and the 2nd issue was with Razor, but Amazon made it right for me. I buy nearly everything through Amazon, and this experience is a perfect example of why. Sin dejar a un lado que es un producto de alta calidad, pensé que era buena idea comprar un scooter grande para que fuera amigable con los adultos también. La verdad no vale la pena este modelo. Es muy pesado y grande para transportarse ya que no se dobla como otros mas compactos. El motor/batería/mecanismo lo hacen bromoso y en realidad aunque si funciona con un adulto de mas de 100 kgs, se nota que no esta diseñado para este propósito, es 100% para niños de 70 kgs o menos. Reitero que esta construido con alta calidad, su velocidad es bastante buena, pero he visto otros de precio similar que son igual de rápidos y mucho mas ligeros.

Es un scooter muy resistente y con buena velocidad, frena bastante bien, tiene una pintura esmaltada gruesa y fuerte que se nota a simple vista, sus llantas son inflables a diferencia de otras marcas que tienen llantas duras que hacen muy cansado e incomodo el manejo. Sin embargo los detalles que tiene en contra es que no es plegable, pesa DEMASIADO, la base de lamina sobre la que se apoyan los pies es muy delgada y se dobla y abolla muy facilmente, no tiene indicadores de velocidad ni de bateria a diferencia de muchos otros modelos, de igual manera no cuenta con ningun tipo de luz frontal, lo que lo convierte en un modelo austero pero muy resistente.

We love this scooter, but things worth knowing : Capacity ** Kids and parents can ride this thing, it has enough guts to move an adult. Quality ** Chain and gears are a bit clunky making it sounds a bit cheapo, but runs ok; Tires ** The inflated tires is the reason we got it, they are awesome for rough pavement and are smooth Air valves ** Rear tire valve position is very badly designed, a real pain to inflate the tire; Sturdiness ** The overall construction is made of steel, making it sturdy and strong. The rear fender is plastic and broke after a fall; Runtime ** Expect about 25 to 45 min of fulltime runtime as per your weight and usage location (hills, surface style etc.) Weight ** Unit is heavy, so if you intent to carry it around for camping or day trips, think twice. Transport ** It has no means of folding without tools for transportation Charging ** Charger must only be plugged for a max of 12 hours, so you can't leave it unattended for days while plugged, charging is slow, it takes several hours; charge port : The little dust cap for the charger port is a pain to put on after charging. Power switch ** Location of the power switch makes it easy to forget ON; Kick stand : Ok stand, it does work on uneven surfaces and grass; Throttle ** This is ON / OFF, you cannot modulate the speed :( .

La caja del producto llegó un poco matratada, pero el scooter totalmente íntegro, la primera vez antes de usarlo piden que se le dé una carga de por lo menos 12 horas. El patín es algo pesado aproximadamente 15 kg, las ruedas llevan aire, fáciles de inflar, la apariencia es bonita, la base donde se posan los pies es antiderrapante, no es plegable, no cuenta con luz, la duración de la pila es aproximadamente de 1 hora, es veloz. El producto es bastante recomendable!

La batería dura menos de 30 mins con buena velocidad para una persona de 45 kg, además es muy pesado
