Best pressure pump ... Nice water flow u can use

Working fine ,only issue is that automatic pressure controller is of different brand ,hired local plumber for fitting ,, Low noise Good quality Working good ,solves the problem

I bought this pump on 14 May 2023. It initially worked well even though the installation process is more convoluted than I thought. After a few months the pump stopped working (it was still under 1-year warranty), and when I contacted kirloskar customer care I was assured that a technician would visit and rectify the problem. 6 days went by and nobody showed up. I called the customer care again and was asked to contact a company technician, who flatly refused to help me. I was then asked by the customer care to send the pump to their dealer (located 20 kms from me) for inspection. I did that and was told by dealer that the company is refusing warranty (??). I contacted the customer care again and was provided contact details of the state zonal manager (?). He turned out to be more helpless than his technician. I have now decided to buy a new pump instead of going through all this non-sense. Pathetic company with even worse customer care. Please think twice before buying this company's product.

To start with, I am reviewing it as professional engineer and following are my comments: 1) Package came it in time 2) Material was well packed. 3) KIRLOSKAR pump was in its manufacturers original package. 4) By calling 24x7 customer service no. of KIRLOSKAR pump, it was registered by providing serial no. of pump. It’s all there in the carton and so easy. 5) Pressure switch was properly packed along with Operation Manual with very clear instructions of installation, maintenance and troubleshooting. 6) Don’t get confused with 3 wires of pressure switch with that of 2 wires of pump. Pump does not have an earthing terminal and that’s not right. Use 3 wire power cable to connect to pressure switch and from pressure switch connect the ground wire to one of the screws of the pump fan cover. 7) Make sure to make a cut out in protective cover in pump’s supply port. Pump has a built-in non-return valve, which is very good. 8) Local plumbers are not used to install this contraption and often may resort to confuse you. Check with instruction manual. 9) After all connection is done, make sure water is available at pump’s inlet so as not to run dry. 10) Right process is to switch on and off quickly until you find shrill sound of water to ensure pump is primed. 11) Last, if you have SLIGHTEST leakage in your existing plumbing line like cistern etc, pump will work continuously or intermittently. 12) It is perfect for a bathroom. Don’t expect it to to work for two bathrooms at the same time. You may not get the same quality at the same price. I reviewed 11 items in 5 web sites and markets as well. Just a super value for money

While I see a lot of poor review, it was definitely a good buy as far as I'm concerned. I checked locally for the same horse-power but couldn't find anywhere less than a 1 HP pump, I needed 0.5 HP for a single bathroom on the 1st floor (and the tanks are just above the floor) - was initially hesitant to buy this one as the reviews were not in favour. I had to go ahead and buy it as I didn't have time to wait and it was trusted brand - and I am happy with the decision. I purchased it in April 2019, and it's been working flawlessly with good pressure - the pressure is controlled automatically and I didn't have to do anything from my side. Of course, I got it fixed by a plumber who had installed as in the picture - with connections from two tanks which can them be controlled with the help of valves. Towards the output side of the pump before it goes into the bathroom, another value is provided to use when the pump is off and the natural pressure is to be built up. I'm very happy with the purchase and used it in the tropical region (Kerala), which is humid, hot and receives heady rainfall (the pump is installed on the terrace, next the tanks). It's important to keep it protected from rain water and water clogging on the terrace. The pics may not be clear, as it's taken at night and is raining also.

I have using for one year now. But the automatic function stopped operating after 8 months of smooth operation. I called the Kirloskar customer support. The service engineer came and told nothing can be done for it. I was advised to giving a starting push on the fly wheel, every time I wanted the motor to run. My repeated request to the service engineer to check the motor by opening it, did not yield any result. Bad post sales support.

My geyser was not giving water even not a single drop just after installation now everything is like a jet pump. So happy now... Using this in two bathrooms good pressure easily on off and easy installation paid 1500 for installation 5000 rs of raw items for pipe fittings and 4500 rs pump
