This is not the only telescope with this poor design sold to unsuspecting parents
Cute but very flawed design;there is a aperture-reducing "stop" right behind the objective lens that makes the scope effectively smaller in order to hide the false color inherent in the cheap single piece lens. This is not the only telescope with this poor design sold to unsuspecting parents. Don't buy this.Buy a telescope that states it has a "doublet" lens OR states that it is "achromatic"(Even better are "apochromatic" but those are very costly and meant for advanced users.) A much better beginner telescope is the Celestron 50AZ because of the better lens which means truer colors and a brighter image.

0 reviews really. It's absolutely terrible. I got this for my little cousin so we could enjoy the solar system a bit more but this telescope is just plain awful.
