decent compression but uncomfortable
the holes at heel are not comfortable as they have just flipped the material and stiched it there and the stiching rubs or presses on skin and causes discomfort just like a very tight rough elastic on waist does. On the other hand the top and bottom holes are well stiched and does not bother at all. I feel I should have bought the ones without heel holes. This can be worn just for compression when relaxing or giving rest to ankles, it will not give good support in case there is some injury as the ones with additional elastic strip give. After wearing for small intervals like half hr to 45 mins, need to readjust or open it to let the heel area breathe or allow for blood circulation as the hole sits too tight over the heel specially if you try to use it under a shoe.
