As a tripod competing with the Joby Gorillapod this tripod wins out hands down.Firstly I find the legs wrap around and grip things much better than my old Gorillapod ever didIt is also more pleasant to use as a camera grip than the Gorillapod.I suspect it will be more durable over time, like many Gorillapod users, I suffered the embarrassment of my balls popping out at inconvenient timesThe only con I see is the lack of movement in the excuse of a ballhead if you want to turn the camera in to portrait form factor when using the tripod as a conventional tabletop tripodOverall, I'm happy with this tripod as an addition to my kit and as a substitute when travelling light, I highly recommend it

Pretty good! I've managed to get a few shots with my camera I would have otherwise not been able to. I use a canon 1300D with kit lens and it handles it well enough.

Great little tripod, now my travel one. Ideal when you don’t want to take a full size one or when I do some goPro footage.
