I never tried to hit 100% as you know, some gadgets will initially have a spike in power requirements when first powered on, so you need to account for that otherwise either the internal breaker in the converter will trip or worse, you destroy your converter. This converter has so far been supplying 110v to my gadgets without any issues.

Lies! Lies! Lies! Broke everything I plugged into it! This oversized converter does not convert power of any wattage to NA 120v. Furthermore, I'm stuck in a foreign land with any devices! DO NOT BUY!!

The unit 220 to 110 v converter received is not the Trevolty one shown by seller. The Trevolty one pictured must be an older unit which shows 1400w max, and 20w at the USB A & C.The unit received has no name on the product but has the following parameters printed on the unit: 1600w max, 35w USB A & C.While it is a nicely sized converter for use with many EU outlets that provide 220v to the US standard of 110v, the EU two round plug is a permanent part of the converter. Many comparable units allow you to remove the EU two round plug for greater ease in packing.Also there is apparently no user replaceable fuse or resettable circuit protector as part of the unit.
