Exactly What My Laptop Needed!
I Bought this ram chip due to buying an old Toshiba laptop that only had 1gb of ram and to max it out I required an extra 2gb which it really needed as it was very slow!Fortunately for me old laptops are very user friendly for replacing ram so all I needed to do was unscrew a plastic cover at the bottom of the laptop and install the ram in the slot and it was ready to re-assemble. Please check YouTube for help on your laptop as some are very tricky to upgrade!With this and a cheap SSD it managed to help make a barely usable laptop into a solid machine for web browsing, office use and even photo editing, definitely not powerful enough for video editing or OBS/screen recording.I definitely recommend this ram for your laptop but just make sure it is the right kind of ram for your laptop check websites like crucial and Mr memory and check YouTube tutorials for your laptop model just to make sure you are confident in doing it

Great, budget RAM for older netbooks and laptops
RAM works exactly as expected and is compatible with all the netbooks I installed it in, including the MSI/Advent Wind U100 and the Samsung NC10.One thing to keep in mind is that if installing in the MSI Wind U100, you’ll need to disable the onboard memory in the Advanced tab in the BIOS before installing, as the existing 1GB is soldered on to the board.Most devices that this RAM is compatible with won’t have more than 1 single DIMM slot so you can’t benefit from dual channel, however the speed is fine without dual channel.
