There are around a 100 illustrations inside, no problem with the inside of the book but there is an apparent decrease in quality of penguin classics.The design is slightly changed, width of the white band is more,the orange font missing and the cover texture is smooth.the older classics have the cover illustration with a highly glossy texture which was very satisfying to touch(as shown on origin of species).But I bought this new edition of alice and there is no glossy finish.It doesn't make much of a difference but it also doesn't have the same penguin classics feel to it.Maybe I should've bought the older edition. The binding is a bit hard too.

Not much to say about this timeless classic. I have rated 5* for the content. The version has pruned font size to reduce page numbers, of course to decrease costs. So lacks the premium feel

I bought the Penguins Classics edition and boy was i disappointed!Although the quality of page was really perfect, what didn’t work for me was the font size and the contents of the book other than the story. First of all, there are 80-100 pages in the front and 10-20 pages in the back which has ‘notes’ on Alice’s adventure in Wonderland. Second, the font is so small, so- so small that please do buy a magnifying glass together with the book!Again, i do not understand why are there notes going on for about 50 pages ( like Ross- front and back!) about a such a simple story?If you’re buying this book for academic purposes please go ahead. If not, please buy some other edition of the book.Even tho i got it just for Rs130, I just couldn’t stand it and had to return.

This is not a review of Alice in Wonderland the book. This is a classic and there is nothing more I can add to vouch for its awesomeness. This review is for this Barnes & Noble Flexibound edition which I absolutely love. I wanted a really pretty copy for my collection and this one fit the bill. It is unabridged with all the original illustrations. It is a gorgeous copy. In case you were wondering what 'flexibound' means, these covers are somewhere between hardcover and paperback bindings. This edition is a beautiful pink as you can see and has light blue stained edges with a golden bookmark ribbon. It also has one of the most famous quotes from the book embossed on the back cover "Curiouser and curiouser!".

First of all, the product was delivered on time and in perfect condition.The contents of the book is no doubt really great works of literature.Talking about this edition, it have really beautiful illustrations. The font is clear and legible. The layout and design of the book is wonderful. I'd recommend is to all the collectors and book hoarders out there. An amazing edition indeed.

Alice in Wonderful is always a fantastical read, but the beauty about reading is also receiving a wonderfully presented book , my experience mostly, with online purchase is ,that PAPERBACKS are treated unfairly when it comes to delivery and handling. While hardcovers are coddled . I reckon it just comes down to price and value.

Que livro é esse?!!! Meu deus, muito lindo. Ele é pequeno (de bolso) mas eu achei ótimo, pois da pra levar na bolsa. Capa de tecido, detalhada, borda dourada LINDA! as ilustrações são muito caricatas, eu amei demais. Uma leitura gostosa, que costumo fazer as vezes.Obs: Comprei ele há uns anos, por isso está surradinho.

Llegó muy rápido y en excelentes condiciones. El libro es muy bonito, 20 CM aprox x 13 CM, la pasta dura y el forro al tacto de buena calidad, las hojas se sienten muy bien, la.letra de buen tamaño. Totalmente lo recomiendo y el precio excelente!

Lo cercavo da un sacco e finalmente l’ho trovato, oggi mi è arrivato e sono felicissima lo amo. L’unica pecca è che puzza un po’ di muffa ma non fa niente è in ottime condizioni

Ich bin sehr, sehr glücklich, eines dieser wundervollen Bücher mein eigen zu nennen.Die zarten Seiten blättern sich liebevoll um.Die Zeichnungen versüßen das Lesen.Dem Werk Lewis Carroll’s wurde mit diesem Buch gewusst zu würdigen.All die versteckten Easter eggs (if you get my pun ^-^) lassen sich mit diesem Buch freudenvoll suchen, und derer gibt es viele!Alice in wonderland and Alice through the looking glass ist wahrlich ein absolutes Meisterwerk, geschaffen von einem Genie der Mathematik und der englischen Sprache gleichermaßen.Ich danke Chartwell Classics für ihre meisterliche und wunderschöne Auflage und würde mir wünschen, dass es dieses Buch bald wieder zu kaufen gibt.Thank you so very much for this absolutely great masterpiece of a book! I love it!
