Scratchgard Anti Glare Matte Finish 15.6" Wide Laptop Screen Protector (Multicolour)

At first i was not sure enough if i would buy this screen guard, because of the negative comments but believe me dont listen to them, i bought it 2 days ago and i couldnt be more happier.Pros: 1. Very good quality and reduces reflections by 70-80% which is almost like expensive computer monitor.2. Maintains the color accuracy and sharpness of texts , infact it made my laptop screen which is a 15.6 (1366x768) glossy acer display into a very pleasing display.3. Viewing angles improved significantlycons: slightly smaller for 15.6 , like 2mm on each corner , but we can live with it.Tips: while installing , deeply clean the display so no dust remains else it will cause bubbles, and even if u get bubbles with a cleaned display , dont worry , use a atm card and wipe it on the screen to push the bubbles out, follow this technique.:) , laptop screen made much better.

This is a good quality Matte Screenguard. It may not be the best but it does a competent job in reducing glare. I bought it for the Lenovo ideapad 500 notebook which has a glossy screen. Putting this on has eliminated the gloss or mirror like reflection from the screen. Although it fits the screen well, a very slight screen border at the bottom is not covered. You can observe this in the second photo I've uploaded. It isn't a problem at all as the bottom area doesn't cause any reflection or glare. If you are looking for the best, this is not for you. What you get with this product is a gloss free screen and a decent glare reduction.Unlike iCarez (check any product of that company on Youtube, you will know what I'm saying), this scratchgard doesn't have the full installation aids that can help first timers install the screenguard correctly and with less effort. So the installation was a bit tough and it took me around 20 minutes to get this done. This was done in a dust free room. I had to clean the screen thoroughly before application with a couple of Zeiss lens cleaning wipes. Permanent bubbles are result of dirt or other particles attached to the screen. So if the screen is cleaned free of such particles, 75% of the job is done! The remaining 25% depends on how well you attach the screen guard.Air bubbles can also form during the installation. However unlike permanent bubbles, these can be removed simply by using a ATM card to move the air bubbles to the edge of the screen guard. I had only one try because there is only one screen - guard. In the end, I managed to install it cleanly avoiding the permanent bubbles. Let me warn you, unless you are confident of doing this on your own, I would recommend that you get this installed by an experienced person.There are a few expensive anti - glare screen guards on Amazon. As at the time writing this review, their starting price begins from Rs. 2,000 plus! If money isn't a constraint, then I would suggest you get one of those. But if you're on budget, this screen guard is a good and cheaper alternative in comparison to those expensive options.UPDATE AS ON 21/03/2018======================It's been more than a year since I bought this product. As I mentioned earlier it isn't the best. It does a competent job in reducing glare but it does eliminate the glossiness profoundly. Overtime, I realized the need to effectively curb the strain to my eyes if I am to work productively and protect my eyes. Therefore I have invested in  Anti Glare Zero Eye StrainTM Magnetic(Removable) Screen for Laptop 15 to 15.6 INCH screen. A StillerSafe Brand for Laptop Screens . No More Red Eyes and Dry Eyes.  This is expensive but let me tell you, it is really worth it! If you are a professional and work more than 2 hours on your laptop, it is recommended to buy this if you can afford it. This will save your eyes and help you work effectively and efficiently. The Scratchgard screen guard isn't a waste because the Stillersafe screen has to be removed once you are done with your work. Therefore both of these products are necessary.The last photo is the one in which the Stillersafe screen is put on my laptop for your reference. It is magnetic and can be removed whenever necessary. This is the worst product that I have purchased from Amazon. That Screen Guard that I received has a bend is middle and also has many bubbles already, so poor was their shipping. I thought of returning the product immediately, but guess what you cannot return the product. Now I have no choice but to go and use it on my laptop. And when I go to the shop to use it on my laptop screen, it did not fit properly due to the bend in the middle. GUYS THIS IS A COMPLETE WASTE PRODUCT DONT WASTE YOU MONEY ON IT. I searched my local market and found anti-glare screen guard at 200RS only. Not only the seller charging exorbitant price fo this screen guard but shipping a poor quality at the same time.

very good product. I was searching something for my dell e7470 touch screen laptop to reduce the screen reflection. I got this laptop from my company and while I work at my office, it used to reflect a lot because of lots of light in office. Although my laptop's screen size is 14", i took a risk and ordered it. I had to cut this according to my 14" screen. saw some tutorials on youtube, how to apply it on my laptop. And luckily i was able to apply it without major bubbles. Have few unnoticeable bubbles. And wonders -the glare has reduced to around 70-75%.. now my face is not reflecting on the screen. touch is working perfectly fine. Even after using it for 8-9 hours in well lit office environment, I don't feel constraint in eyes which was pathetic earlier.(before applying the anti-glare screen). I would recommend this to anyone who is using a touch screen laptop in office environment where we have lots of light. Saw few negative feedback, but I am fully satisfied with this product.

There are a few things to note here:1. MRP is Rs. 7892. There are no included installation instructions whatsoever. If you muck it up once like I did, the product may very well be useless to you. It is highly recommended you have someone who does this daily do it for you.3. There are no multiple tries while installing this. By attempt 2 or 3 it may accumulate too much dust to be of any use. (and it may not even stick as it was the case for me)I feel this was overpriced and without proper instructions.

The product is good. The reduction in glare and refection is apparent when I fixed it to the screen.I did the job myself. It got attached almost perfectly. But there there some small particulates on the screen, even after I cleaned it. Those could be from the cloth I used to clean the screen itself or the surroundings. There were some air bubble which disappeared after some days. But the bubbles that formed around the small dust particles did not vanish. So I suggest, go for the product - buy it and take to to a store to get the screen guard attached. Even if you have to pay some money for getting it done by others, it is worth it.
