I'm no mechanic
Had a 'check engine' light appear on my sons 2011 Corsa. It was very easy, plugged this in myself and got a code. The code indicated a sensor, so I brought a new sensor for the Corsa and changed it. The 'check engine' light no longer appears. I'm very happy.

Great value for money
Very useful for basic code detection and clearing faults. You would need a more advanced code reader for a proper diagnostic of course, but for the price this is a fantastic deal.

Works well and easy to use
This reader worked immediately on my commuting car (Hyundai Getz) and not only showed a clear fault code number, it also offers a description of the problem.In my case I got the reading 'P0340' and the explanation this was a 'camshaft position sensor'So then I can order the part and know exactly what to replace/do.Very pleased as with this you KNOW what the issue is and do not have to trust a garage to tell you.You can then decided whether or not to repair yourself or let a garage do the work.Very useful tool.

Not working and scam
Why did you choose this product over others?:Didn't even read any codes followed what the manual said and it didn't even work at all. Absolutele scam Ease of use:Chose this as it looked easy( never making this mistake again)

Simple to use
Although easy to use it didnt work for my 2006 BMW 3 series - it was not able to perform the diagnostic tests or read the codes so was replaced with a Veepeak Bluetooth OBD II Scanner that did work. If you have a compatible car its probably fine but worth confirming in advance of purchase (from the description on Amazon it implied it would work for 2006 diesel vehicles)
