This is a very good quality Water sediment filter, i have installed on over head tank out let pipe, it remove almost 99% of sand and sediments which is very useful to avoid sand particles entering and clogging the expensive faucets and shower holes.But the manufacturer must redesign the product to make it user friendly, the inlet and out let connections have threaded ends which needs very tough method of plumbing, instead of thread end if manufacturer give plain end it will be very easy to install by any user with out the need of plumber by using simple PVC coupling and PVC pipe adhesive.Also the the drain hole have 3/4'' thread, if you need to fit drain valve you need to use 3/4'' to 1/2'' reducer and fit the drain valve. If manufacturer give 1/2'' drain outlet with internal thread it will be very easy for users to connect optional drain valve.

Almost daily breakage and repairs by municipality to the main water pipe lines somewhere or the other, results in a lot mud, small stones, plastic etc. entering the water pipe lines and from there into our tanks. So, over the years I tried all sorts of inline filters; I've used fabric candles, I've even used industrial type filters (RO filters) etc. All these did an excellent job of filtering the water - but at the cost of water pressure which was a serious drawback.So I started using these mesh type filters. I managed to buy an Italian mesh type inline filter which has a multi-layer high-grade stainless steel mesh. It's an awesome product if you can find it online, nothing like it....expensive to be sure, but really good (see attached photo). Also, since it has a transparent bottle, you know when it needs cleaning. A similar product is available at Amazon.in under the name "Elegant Casa ¾, 1-inch Inlet No Electric Installation Water Filter"The Harit inline mesh type filter (this product), is a poor-man's version of the Italian product. It does a poor job as compared to the Italian one. To be sure, this product does trap tiny stones, large mud particles, pieces of plastic etc. but just not as efficiently as the imported Italian product. That said, this product is easy to install and also easy to open and clean. The process of opening and cleaning is like opening and cleaning a bottle. Very easy and quick even a child can do it.I give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars for ease of installationI give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars for ease of cleaning and,I give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 stars for using single-mesh design.I feel a double mesh would have significantly improved the efficiency of this product and at this price point, would have had a major advantage over the foreign competitors. Maybe they will improve this aspect of the product in a new version. So, until you get a better product, got for it.

Nice products but some alignment problem of the net filter with its inside surface.I am reviewing it after few months of use like 2 months and though the net filter is clean and new and if little bit of dust or sediment(water scum) gets stuck and if later cleaned and reinstalled then no water reaches to the tap after the cleaning.Frequent opening and closing and reinstalling the net filter inside up and down many times lastly makes the water pass.I have tried the another net filter that came along with this but same issue.As our water is already too clean just wanted to clear the water water scum that some time seen on the surface.But it's create lot of issues and have to go to the roof and reopen and align it up and down (though filter clean) and have to come down several times to see if water's comming or not.

A very useful product. Good built quality. Working as described. But filter only big particles. Can't filter smaller particles like sand. Sand is still passing through this filter and depositing in home water tank. Got an additional free filter , 1 cleaning brush, one pipe insulation tape with this product. The packaging of the product by the seller is of top quality. And the best part of 'Kartik Enterprise' is it's Customer Care. Instant reply on What's App by it's Customer Care. They solved my installation related queries instantly. Great Job.

"LIKES"1. Price is great for what u are getting ..2. Very sturdy and hard plastic is used in this screen filter.3. You get an extra filter. that great..4. You just have to clean it about once in two months ...depending on the water you are getting...for me the water is ok...the cleaning tool is included..."DISLIKES"1. It was not easy to install i would say...the plumber got confused..2. The delivery time was about one week...for a prime member it is..In the end ...i would say that the product is fantastic ...i bought two of these as you can see in the picture. They both work fine no leaking if u install them correct..

I was delivered this product with in 2 days after placing the order.Would like to provide my feed back on the below topics.Product Design: Though this design looks different I think this is the correct for fixing it to the pipe line. But would have been great if suggested to fix it for Inlet or Outlet.Product Quality: The quality of the plastic is very good, used hard pastic I guess it will not break even if you intentionally through this filter(Didn't tried).Installation: Will provide my experience once I install this filter.Filtering: Will give you my review post the installation and usage.

It do not filter anything it is waste of money do not buy it .
