A proven product
This is a proven product. Works well and lasts long enough. Pricing is a slightly on the higher side. 3M must consider reducing the price.

Excellent mop cloth and head. Cheap rod
The mop is excellent but the rod is cheap quality. After using it for a month it bent and broken. I was at a loss as I could not find a spare online. Then I thought I will use the scotch brite squeee handle which is also screw type rod. But realised that it's not compatible because the screw part is short. Tricky way of scotch brite to fleece it's customers to buy a new mop. Then I found a cheaper Rs 50 option from a local shop. It was a wooden rod and also screw type. I have been using that rod since one and half years.I have to buy one more mop for my other home. But thought to give a review first.Again I say the mop cloth and the mop head is excellent. Just a very weak rod.. worse than a 50 rupees wooden rod. So much for quality.

The best mop ever - cleans amazingly
Amazing product . This has rendered my maid incapable of working in a home without this mop as she has forgotten how to squat mop without discomfort. Well worth the investment as a retention tool ! The mop is easy and very effective and we can use it ourselves when the maid is AWOL . Real easy to use and clean. The only issue is durability . While the build quality is good , the joints will break and the coated meta rod will rust and be unusable in a year or so of regular intensive daily use in a 4 bed home. That programmed failure apart, it is still the best mop available today .

Get the cleanest house...and a back pain
Three stars because the mop has some excellent qualities and also some bad ones.It is excellent because:The flat mop is the most effective mop mechanism to clean the floor. Previously, I used the mops that look like a bundle of cloth strips attached together at the pole. These kind of mops only give an illusion of cleanliness because the pressure at the surface is restricted to a very small area. Also, the strips only redistribute dirt rather than eliminate them. They release water, but don't absorb them back. So I used to see the water marks even after wiping. Also, I was not comfortable dipping the dirty mop in a bucket of water and then using the same water to clean again. With the scotch write mop, you don't have any of these problems. The flat mop covers a large area with good pressure. When you swipe it in one direction, it picks all the dirt in that direction. It doesn't release dirt back, but scoops it. Since you only need to sprinkle water before mopping, you save a lot of water! Now comes the problems:1. The mop head rotates 360 degrees. This is supposed to have been designed so that it can clean nook and crook. But this mechanism is a pain when mopping. It often ends up twisting and turning in a direction I did not intend it to, and the experience is therefore not smooth. I wish there was a lock that would stop it from rotating.2. The microfibre cloths are not that easy to remove. With the old cloth string mop, I just had to immerse it in a bucket of white vinegar to clean it. Here, I have to remove the cloth (quite en effort), scrub it (or put it in the washing machine, they say...but I have to put it separately and not with other clothes and that is quite a waste), and again attach it again. Trust me...we don't need any more extra steps in housework.3. The mop's effectiveness depends on applying pressure. I don't know if others face it problem, but I get a slight back pain with this mop. With the conventional mop, you just squish water back and forth on the floor. It wasn't so uneasy. But this one.. all this unidirectional pressure with a stick with a heavy cloth at the bottom seems to be a little unergonomic. To conclude:I hope Scotch-Brite brings some improvement in the design, but for now, I wold say give this a skip. Sure, it gets the house much cleaner than other mops, but with the more time consuming attach/detach processes, the discomfort in applying pressure and the fumble 360 degree mechanism, it is quite an inconvenient experience. The house will never be 100% clean, so go for the lesser efficient ones. At least the mopping will be hassle free.

An expensive cleaning tool
Ok so waited enough before writing a review. This is going to be long one. 🙂 First a 3M product so its pricey.Somewhere between a broom and a mop, though can't replace any. Broom as it can take away all size of debris and mop as it's not easy to use as wet mop.Now pros and cons ===Pros -1. Light weight, so for those days you do not want to use your humble jhadu n pocha, you can go for this, light cleaning.2. Most important that it can go under sofa, bed where many mop/ hands don't , so it's a mop/ hands for under furniture. I did under sofa it worked.3. Can be used for roof and windows, light weight.4. Quality of microfibre seems good though color light/ softness gone after two three washes.5. One spare microfibre with the pack so for some time you are free from purchase.Cons-1. Since a good money is spent so the expectation would be to use it both wet as well as dry mop. But unfortunately wet moping is tedious.A- It retain water like too much. Though there is a small plastic cleaner that comes with it, and can be used to wipe water but still.B-Moping it wet requires muscles as it kind of sticks to the floor and doesn't move easily.C- Gets dirty and cleaning required after few wipes. And again whole process of cleaning n taking the water out from microfibre under tap.Have not tried taking out the microfibre cloth from the mop and squeeze. But then it's like what we do with pocha over whiper, why put so much money for this.So basically a wet mop without bucket makes clean and squeeze hands job.2. Even when dry moping after a room it might require cleaning but you can't clean as then it will become a wet mop. So basically you have to dry mop the whole house without cleaning it in between. How effective is this kind of moping, you can understand. With all this I feel it's kind of a tool meant to fill in the gaps of cleaning but not full cleaning. One thing that I still wish to try is how much dirt does this picks out after whole ritual of brooming and moping the floor ( I use spin mop). I'm sure a lot as spin mop is also not perfect. So see what pros you need and then pick.
