The item took 6 weeks to arrrive; needless to say the bloom was off the rose by this time. It's redundant to other Dukan books, etc.,but nonetheless offered some insight into suggested diet vegetables. The book itself was used and it showed as many, many pagesstuck together due to moisture or tea being spilt on the book. Not one of my better Amazon choices.

The diet is great. It works. I'm 59yo. and in the last 10 years gained weight and had a very difficult time to lose even 5pounds. My husband and I have been doing the diet and like it very much. In 3 months I lost 25 and my husband 36 pounds. We're never hungry, love the food and evjoy look and feel good. I'm back to wearing size 8 after being 12-14 for a long time. Do not listen to other people who couldn't do the diet. Try it for yourself. You'll be pleased with result when you're done.

This diet did not have enough fiber and gave me (I am in my 30s) diverticulitis! I started off constipated and within 6 months of this diet ended up in the hospital because of it. Diverticulitis is caused by not having enough fiber in your diet. Try Eat to Live by Dr. Fuhrman if you're looking for a healthy alternative to lose weight. This guy is a witch Dr. whose diet will screw up your system for good. Don't do it!!!

Books by Dukan should banned, they are bad for human health. It is demonstrated by the fact that he lost the court case again the doctor who had written about the risks associated with the Dukan's diet
