These Single Use Vials Are Very Convenient and Easy to Use
I have off and on Dry Eye in my left eye--usually whenever the weather changes or being in smoke-filled rooms like gambling casinos.I have tried several brands and for me, Bion works the best. If you don't use all of the liquid when applying the top seals back up and does not leak--all though, it won't stain anything. When my eye starts watering, which is usually in the morning after waking, two drops will usually stop it or slow it way down. At times, based on the weather, I may need to use another drop or two a couple of hours later. There are other medications that require a prescription that will stop dry eye but once you start with it you need to use it twice daily forever. My Opthamologist suggested trying different tear type products and if any seemed to work well, and if the need was only off an on then go for it--using a prescription drop was a real inconvenience because you must keep on using it regularly. This type of product is fairly expensive when purchased in drug stores but after trying several brands I found Amazon was a good place to buy. While I highly recommend Bion I also recomend you try more than one brand to see what works best for you.

Great for dry eye
My husband uses Bion Tears everyday for chronic dry eye. His Dr recommended this brand as it has no preservatives. Pricey, yes, but my husband will use no other.

The absolute best
Before I order another package, I am writing this review. These are the absolute best eye drops. My eyes have been increasingly drier and drier, partly due to age but exacerbated by the fact that 7 years ago I was taking chemotherapy. Apparently, dry eye issues are a side effect of many of the most common chemo drugs. Ok, well, nothing I can do about that. I have tried so many different drops and finally went to the opthamologist. First thing I learned was that IF you use eye drops more than 2-3 times a day, then you should be using single vial drops vs drops (even the same brand) in a bottle. The reasoning is that bottled drops contain a preservative, whereas ones in the vials do not. Huge problem for many people, myself included. Preservatives can cause more irritation and one creates a viscous cycle by then needing more drops to make the irritation feel better. Other single vial drops have a different formulation than BION TEARS. This is the only product that I have found that doesn't contain preservatives AND soothes my eyes, doesn't cause that morning 'sandman' eye gunk and doesn't make my eyes blurry or 'cloudy'. I did like the gel drops from another brand as they seemed to last longer but.....they invariably caused me to have a 'film' under my eyes and that yellow crusty stuff on my eyelids, etc. in the morning. BION TEARS doesn't have either. No pain, no preservatives, no irritation....just soothing relief. The absolute best...and I've tried almost all the different brands. Sometime take a look at the ingredients....BION is different from the rest and way superior!

My mom is a loyal customer!
These are a great brand. My mom usesthe product 1 or 2x daily ,depending on her need for the day. I took 1 star off only because the vials are no longer wrapped in foil packs inside the box. It was nice added protection to keep them germ free until needed to use. That would cut down on contamination.

BUY! Great EyeDrops for every Handbag et al!
These are Great to Have stashed in any small Handbag or on Your Bedside Table! These are Great to Supplement any Contact Lens Supplemental Moisture small Bottles which are very Expensive. They work great & are Ph Balanced to get any type debris from an eyelash to a Speck of Debris without having to locate the Small Bottles of Eyedrops needed for my Contact Lens Periodically. I have “Dry Eyes”, and I have found that BioTears are so convenient to access since I am Outdoors in the Wind wherein any specks of Dirt or Pollen can Fly into my Eyes!

Long Lasting and Preservative Free Eye Drops
For dry eyes, you can't do much better than the Bion Tears for long lasting and preservative free eye drops. Not the cheapest on the market, but clearly a better product than many of it's competitors. Not that easy to find in some pharmacy or drug stores, but definitely available on most internet websites.

The only one for me....
I have very dry and sensitive eyes due to an auto-immune condition, and have had to use artificial tears for decades. I've gone through many types and brands. BION Tears are the only ones on the market now that give my eyes enough moisture but not too much, are not "sticky" so they don't blur vision, and are enough too relieve my dryness without any side effects from ingredients. Even other brands that supposedly have no preservatives/additives have bothered my eyes. I use BION Tears regularly throughout the day, and sometimes use an ointment at night. The one thing I would say, is that they aren't enough when I have to fly on an airplane.(But, I find Systane ULTRA, another product by the same maker, works well for that.) I just hope they keep making BION Tears! My luck is to find something good and then it's discontinued! Now that I've found BION Tears online for a much better price than I've found anywhere else, including discount retailers like Target and WalMart, I'M HAPPY!!
