Not a large plant but you wouldn’t expect it for the money it is as describedVery healthy and I decided to repot into a larger pot and leave a while before I plant outDefinitely buy again from here

Sambucus plant
It's a beautiful shrub and you can use the flowers for making elderflower juice. I'm looking forward to seeing it mature.

Bad decision
Decided to buy from this supplier on Amazon to save opening an account with them directly as their reviews were good. Prompt delivery and good packaging are the only positive. Bought two plants and I was satisfied with one but this Black Lace Sambucus was a disgrace. Described as “not fully grown plants, these are classed as mature young plants grown in a 9cm pot.” The pot size is correct but my plant was 7cm high with two slender sprouts. I have bought bigger plug plants. This for 9.99 was ridiculous. Started a web chat with a reply that I would receive email contact shortly and am still waiting a week later. All links on their website relating to customer service do not work, despite all others taking you to every one. Despite having bought plants online before and being very satisfied this seller is one I advise you to stay well away from.

Plant is healthy and well rooted
Small but healthy and packaging ok. Repotted and watered it and it’s now in the greenhouse awaiting planting out!

I have had 2 of these plants now from 2 different suppliers. Both have died within days, I'm sure it's me, not them! planted in a shady corner in a large urn, but no, sorry because I love this plant.

Dont buy.
Usually i like gardeners dream and choose them over most,The sambucus i ordered has been cut badly to propagate cuttings from by cutting the top off the plant this is not how you take healthy cutting's and if u do you don't sell the bottom half.So badly that this plant will never become a small tree,It's going to die very quickly. And so its overpriced and ugly, in poor health and not acceptable,I have anxiety and autism though so i won't be dealing with a return or an excuse from this company and instead will purchase elsewhere and take the loss.Very dissatisfied.
