My unit came and when I took the inner plug out, there was water!! Is that normal?

Yes and we have painstakingly advised you of that as much as we can with a sticker on the generator wrapped bag and in the manual. Please read the manual carefully and call us with any questions so we can explain in more detail. We put just enough water in the generator to keep the DuPont membrane wet so that it starts separating the oxygen and ozone from the hydrogen and discharges them out the waste chamber so you only get pure hydrogen in the drinking water. Be sure to rinse out this water with the generator already attached to the bottle, with warm water, under the faucet.

What is the difference between the h2 usb sport maxx and the h2 usb sport pro ii ?

We originally designed the Pro II to be less portable and use a 24 oz bottle but no one wanted to wait the 20 minutes it took to reach the same high Hydrogen concentration that is achieved in the 14oz bottle in 14 minutes. We knew it would be so but we needed to prove to people that they need quality not quantity and quality takes longer to make in a bigger bottle. This is why no one should buy a large quantity Pitcher product because you wait too long and waste most of it that you don’t drink. The MAXX has always been the most popular model world wide. What water can I use for this item?

Our machines work with any quality of water you are willing to drink. They do not use any filters so there is nothing to periodically change. We recommend that you drink the cleanest water possible. If you drink unfiltered potable city water for lack of any other option, be aware that it can contain all types of unwanted elements that our machines will do there best to separate and discharge out into the lower waste chamber, -so you don't drink it. These include but are not limited to Chlorine, Hydrogen Peroxide, Iron from rusty pipes and Ozone gas too. It is important to check the waste chamber before every use to see if any water has been discharged from either excess pressure in the glass bottle or from unwanted elements in your water. If you don't have any waste water, then just consider it a sign that your drinking water is very clean and no excess pressure is pushing the water downward.

How long does the H2 last after generating it?

If you leave the bottle sealed it will have about 60% left 24 hours later. If you keep opening the bottle it naturally escapes slowly. Don’t try to store it. Make it and drink it within minutes. This is why we make portable units. Take it everywhere.
