Good Product but NOT Useful For Positive Ground Motorcycles or Cars Etc. It Won't Work.
The product is truly an electronic solid state device. The cover is transparent plastic and a small circuit board with attached electronic components can be seen. As can be seen in the vendor's photo it will directly plug in for many applications, for those that don't clear instructions are provided and a small wiring harness and a polymer mounting band. I bench tested this device and it worked very well.So why did I bench test it ? I did so to confirm that it was not defective. Why did I suspect it might be defective. It did not work for my positive ground (positive earth for you Brits) '74 Norton Commando. This appears to be a good product BUT DO NOT BUY IT FOR POSITIVE GROUND SYSTEMS -- OLD BRITISH CARS OR MOTORCYCLES.

Amazing product, cables and other hookups were of good quality, easy to use, nicely explained. In the future all I have to do is buy a new universal flasher instead of a motorcycle specific one. This product saved me money, and hassle for an older motorcycle flasher I could find.

Worked well on 1984 Honda nighthawk 650
Work as I should in my 1984 honda nighthawk 650. Solved my blinker issues for half the cost of the factory unit.

Worked great. Nice unit
Worked great. Nice unit. Added turn signals to my 1995 KLX250R. I was able to utilize the rubber strap under the seat and attach to a seat mount.2-27-15 UPDATE. I probably put less then 50 miles on this flasher relay before it failed. Ended up buying a new one at Pep Boys for half the price. I have roughly 250 miles on this one, still working.

Great turn signal flasher.
Great turn signal flasher. Bought this to replace a bad thermal/mechanical flasher on my bike. Works with original rear turn signals and new LED front turn signals.UPDATE: 5/10/21 after about 6 years this relay died. Just went to get the bike out this year and no turn signals. Tracked it down to the relay and looking for a new one now.

Perfect fit on a 1997 Honda Shadow VLX
I bought this solid-state flasher to replace the thermal flasher on my motorcycle so I could convert the rear turn signals to a run/stop/turn system without having the signals fast-flash. (I used a Hopkins 48845 12" Tail Light Converter for the actual r/s/t conversion.) This relay is a "universal" system, so I figured I would have to splice into the bike's wiring to install it. But, to my surprise, the plug that comes with the flasher uses the same three-wire plug as the thermal flasher that was originally on my 1997 Honda Shadow VLX. So, it was a direct plug-and-play installation. I didn't have to alter the wiring on the bike in any way. The new unit fits where the old rectangular flasher relay was, and the rubber mount holds it securely in place on the existing mounting tab. The instructions were easy to understand, and overall, the installation was a breeze, only taking about five minutes. The new flasher unit works like it's supposed to, and my modified turn signals don't fast-flash any more. I couldn't be happier. Since this unit is solid-state and not load dependent like a thermal relay, it should flash your turn signals properly whether you're adding signal circuit load with an r/s/t conversion (like me), or you're reducing the signal circuit load with an LED conversion.

Worked well
I have a 2003 Buell. I have installed LED turn signals front and rear. When I changed just the rear to LED, they flashed really fast. When I changed the front to LED they stopped flashing.I ordered this item hoping it would work.It did. Perfectly. No wire cutting, no worries. It installed without any problems. I needed to use a couple of zip ties to mount it in place of my stock relay, but no big deal.It really did work for me.

Solved failing turn signal relay for Shadow Spirit 1100
Ordered this kit to replace a failing turn signal relay on my bike. It worked perfectly and the adapter fit the plug for the OEM relay perfectly. This is a solution to buying a 70 dollar mechanical relay replacement. ALso had a rubber holder that clipped right in place on the bike.Am using it with standard incandescent bulbs, so cannot comment on LED turn signal support.Top notch kit.
