The top button is the ON/OFF button; right below is the button for the massaging feature: the tool provides a deep kneading massage for your lumbar area, clockwise or counter-clockwise. You can also turn this feature off entirely. The third button from the top is for the heat option: there are two levels you can select from, or completely turn the heat off. The lowest button is the timer. The timer function allows you to set the duration of your massager to 15, 30, or 60 minutes. This cushion requires an electrical outlet to be plugged into. It provides good support and fits all my chairs, so I use it all over the house. The massage function is very effective. The rollers loosen my tight lower back muscles and relieve the pain. And, the heat is always a big plus. My mom also likes it because it helps her to maintain a better posture with comfort while sitting for a long time. This is a nice addition to my lumbar pillows. As a pianist, I'm constantly suffering lumbar pain from long periods of sitting. I use this after practice to relieve my tired back muscles and it definitely helps. The heat understandably takes some time to warm up but feels good once at strength. The shiatsu feature definitely relieves tension. The only negative is the "adjustable" back pillow. It's on an elastic band that is not really adjustable though you can place it where you want then lie back and press into place. Sure, that works but it is annoying to have to reposition it if you have to get up for any reason. It would be better if it were secured by an actual adjustable strap. All in all, I'm happy with the unit despite this small reservation.

This lumbar support cushion is amazing! It’s made of this high quality supportive gel, so it’s so comfy to the touch! Provides excellent support when it’s not in use as a massager, and when you need a bit of work on your back, you just lift up the little attached pillow that covers the massage arms and turn it on! Everyone at home is fighting to use it because it’s so well cushioned yet also gives a wonderful massage. The heat option is also a bonus. You just need to be careful using this while working, as it’s so comfy you might fall asleep! :)

Please be super careful with this product.This product gave me a really bad chemical burn.It has been 4 days and picture below is how it currently looks. My back is in a lot of pain and sleeping on my back is impossible. I did send this manufacturer a separate message , but I wanted to share this with future buyers to be aware. And yes, I did follow all the instructions and yes, I did have a shirt on. I will be returning this product ASAP as I need my $ back.
