Q: How do you connect banana plugs to this speaker?

There are little covers on the top of the connectors that you have to pop off that reveal the spot to plug your banana plug into. Use a knife to pry slightly on the little cover to pop it off if you can't get it with your fingernails.

Q: What's the theory behind using so many woofers in one speaker? What are the benefits of having 4 identical mid-range woofers in the center speaker?

This is a 3-way speaker so the sound is divided into 3 different frequency ranges. Tweeter (self explanatory), the closest driver to center on the left is paired with the outside driver on the right to handle the mids, and the other 2 drivers are paired to handle the lower frequencies. If you are running bigger main speakers (like the Klipsch RP-280F or FAs, you need a center channel speaker that can keep up with those big mains - THIS is that speaker. If you have smaller main speakers like bookshelf speakers, then you don't need this center channel speaker - it will overpower them unless you set your center channel speaker level very low.

Q: What are the differences between rp-450ca and the rp-450c? shouldn't they sound the same since they have similar specs?

The only difference between the RP-450C and the RP-450CA is the finish of the cabinet. The CA comes in real wood veneer finish; Walnut Wood Veneer or Black Wood Veneer. The internal components, and the drivers and tweeter are all identical. Even though Klipsch claim this is an 'Atmos' speaker there is no specific input for it. The only reason you would want to buy the 'CA' version is if you specifically wanted the real wood veneer; otherwise save yourself $200 and buy the 'C' version. Hope this helps. -X

Q: what makes these 450c speakers better than the 440c speakers other than the obvious bigger drivers? Im talking sound quality, what do these do better?
