Jack's Dits: Tall tales from the mess: 1

Anyone who has, or who is, in the RN needs to read this book. It is so funny and certainly brings back memories of the good times and laughs you have with your oppos.

Again you have to have served or are serving to understand and have a good laugh at this

As an ex-navy boy I loved reading the dits. A couple I had heard before but were good to hear again. There were many I could easily associate with. Unfortunately there are far too many spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, wrong words used or words missed. I'm half way through it but I don’t pick it up so often now.I understand its selling very well, so if it goes to reprint perhaps it can be proof read again. I have a couple of other books by Paul which I have enjoyed. If your'e ex-RN I would still recommend this book.

Bought for my husband (ex navy) loves the dit’s in the book , often hear him chuckling !

I served in the Grey Funnel line, these dits sent me back , what great times utterly stunning times, civvies would never believe life in the Royal Navy
