Q: How long does it stay charged after using for less than 5-10 minutes it says charge pen just making sure thats normal & I don't need to replace again?

It stays charged as long as your phone is charged. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure of the composition of the tip though it is not a rigid plastic. The contact point is a softer durometer than the white plastic retainer that holds the tip itself. Mine appears to be exactly like the OEM which i lost

Q: Does this replacement takes pictures if I press the button on the pin?

hmmm, did the original do that?? I wasn't aware that it did that. I tried on this pen and I couldn't find a way to make it take a picture.
