Small, bright, lots of options for programming - and only $25. It's EASY to put together!, very bright, good options for length of on/off periods. VERY simple 'construction' ... as opposed to the last one I bought - which quit working!, that required at least half an hour to 'build' ... and that was with my aunt's help. (It also cost about $80.) THIS one took maybe 8 minutes, perhaps less: screw top part of stand into light section, then two tube sections, then the round base. Had it plugged in and shining on my poor plants in a jiffy.The only thing was that this unit is lightweight: I had to put the corner of a small square basket on the edge of the round base - because it's sitting on carpet?, maybe it'd be steadier on a flat floor surface. Anyway, I had to steady it with something so it wouldn't tip over.The plants seem to already be glad of a more natural light; this room has a sunroom to the west of it, so it can get rather dim in that end. But at least it's the right kind of light - not just a regular light bulb. Hopefully it'll be what I need ... and won't DIE as the other one did [it's sitting on the plant table, NOT lit]; I'd bought 4 or 5 of those - for myself and my aunt - and after some months the lights just die ... some fairly soon, others lasted a lot longer. ... So, fingers crossed! :D

I’d had one of these grow lights since November 2024 and have had no problems with it. I bought another in May 2025 and that one is good too. I like the different light colors and brightnesses. The timed light function works well and turns on and off everyday at the same times. If you lose power or unplug it you will have to set up back up again, which is a bit of a pain, but understandable. My plants seem to like it and it lets me grow plants in places that are too far from my windows. The cords are decent length, probably the same as a regular lamp, I do wish they were a bit longer. I plan to buy other soon, regardless.

It works! My Snake plant is in a room without any direct sun. The lamp is set on a timer and comes on every day. My plant has 3 new stems. I have other plants purchased at the same time without this sun lamp and they are not doing well. Some have died. I highly recommend this lamp.

I’ve had this for about a month now and wasn’t sure how good of a light it would actually be because of how affordable it was but it’s actually been great! There a corner where I have a plant stand in my room that gets /some/ indirect sunlight but honestly not enough. I put the lamp there and all of my plants have been SO much happier! I moved my marble queen pothos to be under the light because she’s getting too big to sit in my window and she’s been THRIVING! I use the automatic timer on the 9 hour setting and it’s been wonderful. You don’t have to do anything if you use the timer settings. I had been turning it off and on automatically but one morning I put it on around 9 am on the 9 hour setting because I was gonna be gone until the next day and didn’t want my plants to have a light on them all night so need it to shut off on it’s own at some point.I found out that it keeps its own 24 hour timer and once it turns off it doesn’t turn on again until the original time you turned it on the next day. Now my lamp turns on at the same time every morning by itself, shines lights on my plants for 9 hours, then shuts off and stays off until the next morning. It’s been absolutely perfect and a huge life saver for my plants and my own time. The only reason it doesn’t get a full 5 stars for me is that I wish the cord was longer and didn’t plug in at the top. I had to get an extension cord just so the wire wasn’t being pulled across my room, partially in the air, and it’s only about 6 ft away from the socket

This is a great light for my house plants. My plants are growing great and are nice and green, and the light itself doesn’t look too bad standing there.

This light has helped my girls flourish! It is light weight and easily moved to different areas of the house. The telescoping pile makes it great to reach different angles and heights of various plants. It was quite inexpensive and I would definitely recommend purchasing one of these if you are Plant Mom or Dad.

Works very well. Like the simple design. My ficus tree loves it.

Lamp was a good size with height adjustment. Light was great, too. I really liked the simplicity of the design, and was surprised at the color of the light (I have another grow light that is purple, but this one is white).Unfortunately, the ac adapter was faulty and it only worked for about three weeks. I disassembled both the timer controller and the ac adapter…some concerning soldering and poorly connected relays are likely the cause of its short life.Overall, I think you could end up with a decent example that would last longer. I would not recommend this item.
