I don't write a lot of reviews, but I felt like this product deserved one. This is an excellent cold brew maker. It is very easy to use and has a great 1,200 mL capacity. The plastic construction is more versatile (less fragile) than other brewers made from glass. The filtration system eliminates the sludge that other brew systems leave. The packaging is very thoughtful - a scoop and sponge are included. The scoop is easily overlooked, but it is the perfect size to clean the used grounds out of the filter. The sponge is an unexpectedly useful form factor to help with cleaning. Hopefully the sponges can be ordered separately, since sponges don't last forever. Some minor downsides: Cleaning is moderately easy, but the only component that is recommended for the dishwasher is the pitcher (which is also easiest to clean by hand). All of the other elements are recommended for hand washing, which doesn't take long. The way the filter is configured, the pitcher will work most effectively if stored (at least for part of the brew cycle) on its side. However, there is a vent in the lid that is prone to leaking when the pitcher is stored on its side. Brewing upright can lead to the top grounds not getting exposed to water. Unfortunately, one of the pieces broke during routine use after a couple of months: the pitcher lid is attached with a couple of hinges that snap the lid into place on the pitcher. One of the hinge attachments broke. I contacted customer service and a replacement pitcher arrived four days later. I'd recommend being careful with these hinge attachments as they seem prone to break. At the same time, the customer service is very responsive and suggests that they take support of their products seriously.

I've tried making cold brew a couple different ways, most recently with Ball jars and a metal filter. This Maestri brewer does a better job than other methods I've tried. No coffee ground sludge in the bottom, easy to clean grounds out of the filter, and easy to pour liquid out of the pitcher without removing the filter / grounds. The brew is pretty strong and tastes great. I have found that sometimes air gets trapped in the pitcher when I'm filling it, and that can effect the brewing slightly. When this happens, the coffee grounds don't seem to get fully saturated right away, so the brewing time takes longer. 24 hours of brew time seems to be the sweet spot for my taste preference, which is strong.

So far this has been a big improvement from a different brand cold brew maker I had. It is simple and easy to used doesn’t leak. The coffee comes out tasting great! It has a smart design that works well. It’s a great deal for how well it works. It is big enough to last all week but not take up to much space in the fridge.

Coffee is great. Very practical. Very convenient to put in the refrigerator. Only problem is that it is not always perfectly sealed when laid down.. Sometimes it leaks no matter how hard we close it. Better left standing upright.

This has become a staple in my fridge. If you drink a lot of coffee this makes perfect concentrate. Its definitely saved me money on buying coffee during the week. We have this laid on the side often and have had no leakage issues. Its durable and the mesh is fine enough that the concentrate never tastes sludge. I would look up your own preferred concentrate ratio as completely filling this may make something to strong.

Very nice and easy to use at home cold brew maker! We love it! Build quality was excellent and it seals up well with no leaks. We have to lay it on it's side because we have an old fridge but it's never leaked out like I feared when we first tried it. Coffee always comes out at a great temp and with an amazing taste. Highly recommend this for at home baristas!

I bought this to make cold brew genmaicha style green tea and it works superbly. No leaks, easy to use and easy to clean. The draw here was the slim profile as I have 2 room mates and wanted something that was conscious of refrigerator space. A little pricey but worth it to habe something that just works. May even buy a second one for coffee at some point.

10 out of 10! i went to DL and ended obsessed with the cream cheese cocoa puff cold brew! so i started making them at home! i was using the starbs cold brew but toooooooo pricey! i ended up wanting to make my own coldbrew cause why not!? i got this last night! made a batch but to my knowledge i didnt know you shouldnt add the water too fast! it busted the bottom right out! so my water was filled with coffee beans! i did it again made sure everything was tightly shut and i did it slow and guess what! this morning i had the beeeeeeeeest cold brew! i let it rest on my counter LAYING down for 12 hours! i flipped it from side to side every few hours so it can reach all coffee grounds! it was so easy to use! it took me a while so let me save you some time! use a cup of coffee grounds! pour the water over the mesh over the grounds once you completely tighten the top over it. put the lid on tight lay on side! its super space saving even the 64 oz is decent! its light weight! super easy to carry and pour! no coffee beans in my coffee! it taste amazing! so strong and yummy! give me 14 of them!!

Excellent Cold brew maker and very easy to use. The cleaning sponge provided makes it really easy to clean it thoroughly too, which is a big plus.

Cette cafetiere est très bien concue. Ils ont pensé à tout pour rendre le café glacé facile à faire et sans dégats. Facile a nettoyer. Un must pour ceux qui aiment le cold brew. J'en ai deux pour une rotation. Recommande vivement!

Prima caraffa per il cold brew e mi trovo benissimo. Non perde una goccia nemmeno se adagiata "sul fianco". Costruzione molto solida e pulizia molto semplice. Consigliatissima
