Pleasant neutral-ish reference tuning with PEQ.
TL;DR: These are very good. The reference tuning is very pleasant. They do not have a particularly exciting sound signature, even after EQ. They do not provide a very analytical listen. The companion app's parametric EQ makes this set phenomenal and absolutely worthy of a blind buy.I'll get the annoying stuff out of the way first.- The buds are quite difficult (at least for me) to extract from the case. You have to grip the stalks and pull them out, it's a bit fiddly.- The touch pads on the stalks are quite sensitive and register inputs very easily. They work well though.- I don't really like the anime vibe, but once you're listening to music you don't get pestered by the inbuilt waifu, lol. It adds character though and I respect that.- My set came unpaired out of the box. I had a skim through the manual and I couldn't see anything about this, but I did press the two stalks together (as in, the stalks were back-to-back) and held them like that for a couple of seconds and they were paired after that. I found this out after some trial and error! The sound, though. These honestly sound incredible for the money. I have 70 (yes, seven-zero) pairs of wired IEMs so I have quite a few reference points. Out of the box they have a bass-light neutral-ish tuning which is very pleasant and, to the best of my knowledge, is unheard of at this price point for a TWS.Timbre is excellent. Bass is quite light in the sub-bass region but it's not over-cooked in the mid/upper bass. Midrange is buttery smooth and treble is nicely done (no sibilance) but sounds a little uneven in the top end - to my untrained ear, it lacks excitement and clarity. The reference tuning is overall really pleasant and inoffensive, although the pinna gain is slightly too much for me.Bass is quite punchy but the midrange & treble regions have poor transient response so some fundamentals (guitar plucks, vocals) might sound blurry or poorly defined. Imaging is also quite blurry, but not offensively so. I actually like this - reminds me of the Tangzu x HBB Xuan Nv - it's a very ethereal and dreamy presentation, nice for relaxation or background music. If you're looking for an energetic and exciting listen then these might bore you. I did have a crack at making them sound more exciting using the PEQ, with limited success - they have a cavernous dip after 10kHz which "dulls" the sound profile a bit. I did manage to partially EQ this away, though.Speaking of the PEQ, having a 5-band PARAMETRIC equalizer for a pair of £25 TWS buds (via the Moondrop app) is absolutely bonkers. You can download presets for some of Moondrop's more premium offerings as well as presets for other well-known targets like Harman / Diffuse Field. The targets themselves are represented as plots on the FR graph - you can either "auto EQ" to hit the target, or tweak the parameters to hit the target by hand. The advantage of the latter is that you can customise the sound to your liking by using the target as more of a guide - which led to me coming up with my own frequency response preference for this set. I also found auto EQ to be somewhat buggy, it's a good way to get close to a target FR however.Oh, the ANC is also pretty decent for the money. I wasn't expecting anything but the ANC definitely makes a noticeable difference to lower-pitched, droning sounds. It's serviceable, which is more than I would expect for the outlay! Here's my EQ, loosely targeting Moondrop Dusk DSP with my own modifications. It's a warmer tuning with a slightly less offensive pinna gain, providing a relaxing - but engaging - listen. It aims to lean into the strengths of this set - if you like micro-details and aggressive vocals, avoid this at all costs! :)- Frequency: 50HzQ: 1.07Gain: 3dB- Frequency: 155HzQ: 0.93Gain: 1dB- Frequency: 1.2kHzQ: 0.60Gain: -1dB- Frequency: 2kHzQ: 0.6Gain: -2.9dB- Frequency: 11kHzQ: 4.5Gain: 3dB

Great for the price.
Very good for the price. Decent sound with focus on accuracy rather than punchiness.Good EQ options in the companion app.Battery life is great, easily lasting a few days of average use for me when combining the battery life of the earbuds and the case.Noise cancelling is good for the price as long as you're realistic and don't expect them to perform equal to earbuds 10x the price.Notifications for power, connecting/disconnecting and changing noise cancelling modes are in an overly cutesy woman's voice, aiming to match the anime vibes that can be found in the app and advertising.I'd prefer something more informational and neutral, but if this is an upside or downside will come down to personal preference.

Good headphones
Good quality for the price. I wish the anc was a little better but I can't complain for the price. The app is easy to navigate and the I could customise the settings to my liking. The touch controls are a little sensitive so it's hard to put them on without changing the settings but other than that i would reccomened them for anyone who wants good quality earbuds for an affordable price.

Worth the blind buy - would buy again.
ANC is surprisingly good for the price - particularly once a good fit is dialled in with the included tips.Sound quality is what you buy these for though, and they certainly deliver far beyond what could be expected at this price point. They stay in while I use a treadmill, and the cute anime voice is uh, a feature?Would recommend, as long as you aren’t sensitive to a japanese girl saying "Hey!", "Huh?" or "Shiiiiiiii" in your ears as you change the ANC settings.Case can be a bit fiddly to put the buds back into but you get used to it, and they are retained very well in normal use.

Another winner from Moondrop
Just get them, they are fantastic. Nice little click sound in the ear so you know you've tapped correctly.Playing with the EQs in the Moondrop app is fun and I've managed to configure the button presses so they are identical to my other buds, making using them super easy.Don't expect class leading noise cancellation, and the buds are still a bit tricky to get out the case. It's the sound that's the star of the show, great out the box, but spend some time on the app, either downloading free Moondrop or User settings. No need to sign up unless you want to submit your own EQ for the community to try.

Audio reproduction and parametric equaliser are amazing
Audio reproduction is quite amazing. The parametric graphic equaliser is almost unbelievable. Pick a frequency, pick a width, damp or increase that; see the squig curve, hear the audio, change in real time, and hear the difference. Save as a favourite There's a community shared library of tunings. It really works; the musicality of the buds really delivers. Sadly, the ANC is barely noticeable, and the open top case is really badly designed (though, it does _look_ shiny). You can buy an outer case, from Shenzen.

Great balanced sound. The app makes these sing.
Great performance for so little money. But you need to download the Moondrop app to get the best out of it.
