Good eSIM
It worked very well. The eSIM is easy to setup. I had data when I was in mainland China. The Google works. I can check my yahoo mails. Somehow I cannot check my Gmail. I also noticed that Gmail is not working either with HKG airport WiFi. It only works with Japan airport WiFi. Wonder if I should’ve bought eSIM card including Japan to be able to check Gmail. Overall I am happy with the data speed and performance except no access to GMail.

Easy Activation With Minor Convenience Gaps
This eSIM is designed for China, Hong Kong and Macau. There are several varieties - I ordered the 10GB over 30days option. It comes as a pouch the same way as a regular physical SIM would. The package contains an instruction manual, and an eSIM card, containing the ICCID, the APN (3gnet), the activation code and QR string (for manual eSIM setup). It also includes a second QR code that leads to a website allowing remaining data to be checked by entering the SIM's ICCID. That website also includes the Activation date.I had no trouble activating the SIM by following the instructions (although I have also activated many other eSIMS).The back of the package indicates that the eSIM can be installed and it will automatically activate when it connects to one of the HK/MO/CN providers. The list of supported carriers is not listed. On the product page, a support email is given, although there’s no WhatsApp chat or telephone number for live support if something goes wrong. I haven’t used the SIM yet, but don’t expect problems.Overall, this is easy to use, although I think the process could have been easier if details were provided by email, although its also nice to have the QR code card in hand. I would also prefer to have a corresponding app, or website that remembers my login so that I don’t have to keep entering the ICCID.

Good eSim card
This esim card was shipped quickly and worked very well. The eSIM is easy to setup. I had data when I was in mainland China. I can use google and facebooks, check gmails and yahoo emails. It's a good buy.

Work great in China. Google app worked well. Disconnection happed once or twice. Restarting the phone solved the problem.

Cost effective and reliable eSIM plan for short stay in China
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This 8-day plan fits perfectly for a quick visit around one week. Depending on your flight times, you may not need cellular data access on your arrival and/or departing days. In that case, it may cover up to a 10 day visit.Set up is a breeze. Just scan the code and push the button once or twice in Settings app. That’s it.Signals are available everywhere in Shanghai. Connection is fast and stable. Nothing to complain about the quality. The 5G/8 day plan is equivalent to 20G/month, which should be sufficient for most users.Just be aware it doesn’t come with a phone number though, which is not a problem in my case. We use FaceTime between family.This is the most cost effective plan I found on Amazon that fits my schedule. Very happy with my choice.

Easy to set up but the jury is out in whether it will work or not.
works as advertised. we brought it to chinba and used it on one of our iphones. we did have to make sure we were on wifi before setting it up. once we did all the steps required, we had limited 4g data during our trip. we only used it on one phone because we got another esim service (holafly) and enjoyed that for the hotspot ability. we did not want to run out of data so we split our uses between them on different phones and it was ok.

Great for China trips
This data plan was super easy to activate, and I had 4G LTE data ready to use after touching down at the airport (just remember to activate it before your flight). It doesn't give you any call or message usage, but data was all I needed when there was no WIFI connection. The 10GB is perfect for short-term travel, but it would also be a great option for the first few days of a longer trip when you need data right away. Highly recommend!
