Blue Bird Lenormand

Excellent card stock that will last a long time. Wonderful feel for shuffling, both riffle shuffling and overhand. The vintage appearance just adds to its appeal. Another review stated the meanings printed on the cards give them an eerie gypsy feel and I agree! It's also quite convenient because you can carry the cards with you without needing an accompanying book for meanings as the meanings are right on the cards. The smaller size is perfect for both my small hands and ability to carry in my purse everywhere I go. I've searched high and low for the perfect "fortune teller" deck and I finally found it!

This is a lovely deck. I just love the pictures and the card insets. I even like the poems on them and I wasn't sure if I would. In fact, that's something I avoided in all my other decks. I don't even mind the poems on them and I thought I would. When buying cards I usually avoid them. I do find these can help. The card stock is good too. I'm pretty sure these will last a really long time. The bottom line is that these are a great beginner deck.

I am new to Lenormand cards; this is my first deck. When I first unwrapped them, I thought, "Oh my, they are tiny!" I did some research to find that the Standard Lenormand is 2.48 in x 3.46 in. I then looked into how they are read. Initially, I thought I could mix them in with tarot or oracle readings. There is a place to have them interact with tarot/oracle as more of an enhancement. I am delighted with their straightforwardness and that they stand well on their own. Two-card reading is the easiest (YouTube it). I know I am going to enjoy these! WHAT I LOVE: The Bluebirds: This brought me to purchase this deck. The additional Lady and Gentleman: This gives young and later in years. The Message on the cards: Gives a beginner a quick way to interpret them. The Design and Quality of the card: Lovely- the vintage theme. The Size: It took me a bit to adjust, but I like the size as it gives the cards their identity. Booklet: It tells the history and has solid information. PHOTO: Show next to a tarot and an oracle card.

gorgeous deck. lately i find myself reaching more for the fortune telling decks than the tarot, there's something about the images that really tugs at me. the bluebird is beautiful, and it's beauty is that of a very different time. if you love things which exist in a past that seems to be racing away from us at a merciless rate, and if melancholy nostalgia for a time you never knew but love regardless makes you happy; if you find the waking world increasingly ugly, cruel, and violent and you'd rather see it all as a bad dream that one could wake from? perhaps you should add the bluebird to your bag of tricks and see if you can't reach out and touch that past, shimmering before you like a ghost but happily within reach.

The deck and artwork have a vintage look and feel which i adore. Each card has a poem that alludes to the card's meaning. As someone just learning lenormand i like this feature. Guidebook included.

Brand new. Cards is made of good quality card board. I like the pictures of the cards. It's a classic.

Sono affezionata a loro, è stato il mio primo mazzo di Lenormand. Il cartoncino è buono, si mischiano senza rovinarsi. Hanno delle belle illustrazioni classiche con sopra delle poesie che rimandano al significato della carta. Libretto con descrizioni ottimo. Non è in italiano.

The bluebird Lenormand is beautiful, stunning images and love that there are all the associations on there, Image, card number, playing card association, so if you are new to Lenormand this is a great deck. The cardstocks is brilliant, classic US Games so excellent quality, as a guess something around 180gsm but that is a guess, if you have other US games tarot cards then the cardstock is the same as those. If you only want one Lenormand deck, that will take you from beginner to pro, this is the deck for you. Highly recommend it. Shuffles a treat, the compact size of the cards makes it easier for those of us with small hands. images are clear and the font used on the text is easy to read, even tho it is quiet small. There are also two man and two women cards, one is an older man/woman the other younger so this is helpful for a number of reasons. Classic US games tuck box, very snug fit for the cards tho, so unless you store the little white book seperately, its worth considering getting a spare bag to store them in, unless you are leaving them out on the table. The little white book is good, short keywords for each card and a nice history on M Lenormand which was very interesting. There is a poem on each card deck with a description of the card meaning. It has an open mind and not as negative a 'voice' as 18thC Lenormand deck I had before. The text on the cards is also much easier to read than on that one. Beautiful images, amazing US Games cardstock, silky smooth n shuffles a treat. Highly recommend this deck to everyone. Get this deck and a copy of Rana George; The Essential Lenormand and you are good to go.
