Fit perfectly and makes cleaning up the grill much easier and the temperature with the additional airflow gets a lot hotter. After the grill cools down lift the basket and give it a shake and the leftover coal's can be reused for the next cooking session . It also fits my Char Griller Akorn Jr . These are a good investment and should come with the grill from the manufacturer . These are well made and will last a long time .

I ordered this for my Kamado Joe Jr. It fit the grill perfectly according to the instructions. After using this, lighting the charcoal became easier, and it also helped with recycling the ashes afterward. The material is stainless steel and feels very sturdy. Great quality, seems heavy and strong. Fits my Joe Jr with one small issue. The deflector plate hits the handles. I took my torch and heated up the handles to allow me to slightly bend them outward and fixed the problem. A small modification during manufacturing would make this item perfect!

Fact is that my Kamado Joe Jr. would not develop enough heat. Never over 300 and it took a long long long time getting there. So I researched and learned that it is a common problem and the only way to begin to fix it is to purchase one of these baskets which elevate the coals allowing air to circulate. So it fits and it appears to make a difference, however, i have yet to give it a real test to see if it will fire up to cook a couple steaks or even a burger. So I give this basket five stars but the jury is still deadlocked on the grill.

This was the perfect addition to my Kamado Joe smoker. I was able to partition the lump charcoal more easily without wasting more than necessary. Also, this allows for me to better get air into the smoker to better control the burn. At over half the price of OEM with the same quality, it was a no-brainer. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
