Q: can the timer be set for less than 15 minutes?

The dial on the timer goes from 0.......15.......30 etc. so yes you could set it for less than 15 mins. I have not tried this though. This little timer is well worth the money.

Q: Will this work with the orbit 20066 portable 1/4-inch outdoor mist cooling system? i want it to mist for a few minutes every 5 minutes or so...

I don’t think it will work as you want. You can set it for a set time frame but then have to set for another.....can’t set for intermittent timing.

Q: why do timer leak after few months of use

Yes. We run 8-10 of them around the property. I date them when I put them in service. They usually last 1 year , then start leaking from the bottom.

Q: Does this timer have a mode that bypasses the timer feature to keep the water on all the time?

Not that I"m aware of. But at normal flow through a garden hose, it will run at about 8 gallons a minute or 480 gallons in an hour. That's a lot of water in the garden. I find the product to serve me well.

ねじピッチ

耐久性がありそうに思い購入したがねじのピッチが国産の配管材料と異なるので取り付けには注意が必要。一方管用ねじはテーパーねじと平行ねじがありオスメスをうまく繋がないと水漏れが出る。シールテープでごまかせる場合もあるが工事になれないと水漏れのリスクがあることを伝えておきたい。追伸）なおこの商品は数回使用しただけでタイマーの停止が壊れて水は停止しなくなった。ダイアルを回しても内部のバネが反転して時間を刻む動作が破損している。保証が無いのでスクラップ！

ねじ山

タカギ等のコネクターには合いません。仕方なく10分硬化の接着剤で無理やり締め付けながら取り付けました。

普通の蛇口じゃ合わない

うちの蛇口は付かなかったorzホームセンターで適当に買ってきた部品は付くのでうちの蛇口は汎用品だと思うねじ経は似たようなものだがネジピッチが合わない
