Once you understand how to use it properly, the performance is genuinely impressive. Quality Everything about this feels premium. The build, attachments, and overall design are exactly what you would expect at this price point. Nothing feels loose or cheaply made. The attachments lock in securely and swap out easily, which matters since this is a multi-styler system. Drying Speed Drying speed is strong, but not in the traditional “blast it with heat” way. It is efficient without feeling overly aggressive. You will not get the same raw heat as a typical dryer, but it compensates with controlled airflow that still gets the job done relatively quickly while being less harsh on hair. Frizz Control This is where it really stands out. The airflow technology smooths hair noticeably better than standard tools. With the smoothing and brush attachments, you can get a clean, polished finish without that frizzy or overly dry look. It is especially effective in humid environments where frizz is usually hard to control. Ease of Use There is a learning curve. I was sold a used one. I'll just buy directly from Dyson and see if that's any better.

Ok, y'all! I have owned a competing brand styler for years now, and while I love it... I was ALWAYS so envious of anyone who had a Dyson Airdrop. They always seemed to have Disney Princess looking hair and no matter what products I had used, I couldn't get mine to look as great as theirs did. I've FINALLY joined the Dyson Airwrap Club, and while I was initially skeptical that it would perform up to what I had imagined in my head... I was totally wrong! This thing is UH-MAZING! Like... it's phenomenal, really. Not only is it a show-stopper appearance wise, but its quality is over-the-top incredible. From the way it's packaged within the storage box all the way to the way the styling attachments perform, it's just the poster child of perfection! While it's a pricey investment, I must say that it's a brand that prides itself on customer service and it has the science that backs up their technology and designs. This multi-styler has multiple heat setting for difference hair types, and while I use the hottest setting, my hair does not feel dry or damaged after using. It's extremely powerful, and I even told my husband that I was blown away (pun intended) by the pure air flow that the dryer attachment was putting out. It was INCREDIBLE! I was in awe just from DRYING it the first time... and then I was WOWED beyond belief when I used the round brush (for blowouts) and then the infamous AirWrap attachment. My hair has never looked more incredible in its life... and I am NOT a stylist or even moderately great at doing my hair. This was so easy to use that it made it fool-proof! My absolute favorite thing about the Dyson versus the next competing brand (that's also famous for hair tools and vacuums), is that the barrel attachment for the AirWrap can be used to style hair for the left and right side without having to swap barrels! It's such a genius design by Dyson that you simply just turn the knob at the top of the wand (don't worry... no chance of even coming close to burning your fingers) in order to swap the direction of the curl. I mean... total game changer when compared to the other competing brands. It's not only a time saver, but it's also a space saver in the train-case storage box in comes in. I did have to adjust to the round brush being slightly smaller, as I was used to a more robust attachment with nylon bristles. When I tell you that the bristles on the Dyson are 10x better for styling my hair... boy do I mean it! The nylon bristles on other stylers always left me with lots of strands of hair yanked from my head after styling, but I noticed a SUBSTANTIAL decrease in the hair on the attachment after using the Dyson. I don't think I'll ever return to my beloved robust nylon attachment again. Give me this Dyson one allllllll day long! (I'll have to see if they make a larger one and order it separately, I suppose.) Very impressed with the include round brush! In my mind, the hair styler itself is absolute PERFECTION and TOTALLY worth the investment! It'll last for years and is backed by a great warranty and customer service team. When people say on instructional videos "you don't need a Dyson", I guess they're (technically) correct... but my-oh-my does it make a HUGE difference when it comes to your style longevity and hold, your frizz control, and overall time spent styling your hair. Again - TOTALLY WORTH IT! IF there was ANYTHING I would even think of changing, I'd say that I would add a latch/lock to the train case it comes in so you could carry it by a top-handle from place to place. That's literally it. That's all I would change (and that's totally just personal preference). Side note: The purple color on this set is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Such a unique and gorgeous color combination on this one, y'all. It's perfection in a complete set! TREAT YO' SELF!
