SATA to USB Cable

This adapter worked as expected. I needed a simple way to connect a SATA drive through USB, and it did the job without any issues. Products like this are hard to get excited about, but that is also kind of the point. When you need an adapter, you want it to work reliably and not create extra troubleshooting. In my case, setup was straightforward and it performed the way I hoped it would. If you need a basic SATA-to-USB solution and want something that is easy to use, this has been a good purchase for me.

I had this crazy hope of easily transferring my old data and records off of an old hard drive, and while it does function as advertised, it’s honestly a bit underwhelming. It’s a simple adapter—there’s not much to it in terms of features or design. The concept is great for anyone needing to pull data off an old hard drive, but there’s nothing particularly exciting about it. It does the job, but that’s about it. The setup is incredibly easy and straightforward. You simply plug it into the hard drive and your computer, and you’re good to go. The USB-C/USB 3.0 compatibility makes it versatile, and it works with both newer and older machines. However, one thing I found disappointing was that the transfer speeds are nowhere near what was advertised. I expected much faster data transfers, but instead, the speeds were much slower than promised, which made the whole experience feel a bit frustrating. It still works, but it doesn’t feel as quick or efficient as I had hoped. The design is functional, but again, nothing special. It’s just a basic adapter with no added frills or features to make it stand out. If you’re just looking for something that does the job without any fancy extras, then this could work fine for you. But if you were hoping for faster transfer speeds or a more premium product, you might want to consider other options. Overall, I’d say this adapter is fine for basic data transfer needs, but it definitely leaves something to be desired. It’s functional, but boring, and the transfer speeds could use a lot of improvement. It gets the job done, but it doesn’t impress.

Needed this to connect a laptop hdd to salvage some data. Worked like a champ. Hard to beat for the price. I haven’t used it much but it did great for what I needed. Can’t speak to long term durability but it was well worth it to save that data.

A nice little adapter, but the USC-C cord is very very short, which limits it's usefulness & placement only right next to your computer...

works as expected for my old pc's drive

This cable is just what I was looking for. I had moved to another country and had to leave me computer behind (will send for it later), so I took along my sata hard drives. In my new location, I need to access some files that was on my SATA hard drives that I were unable to upload to my cload drive in time before the move, so I saw this convertor on the site, ordered it, and when it arrived, just hooked it to my hard drives and my laptop usb port and was able to access the required files. Just plug-n-play baby!

One thing I should have guessed was that the AC adapter had a UK plug. I live in Sweden and consequently got a problem. This should have been informed about in the description. If this is omitted, the seller might have adapted the delivery to the country the package was sent to EU -> EU, UK -> UK etc. Had a suitable mains adapter lying around so it worked out great. Overall good quality and works great for my XBOX.

Das Produkt funktioniert einwandfrei. Meine Festplatte wird erkannt eine gute Methode um 3.5 Zoll Festplatten auf als Backup zu nutzen
