Lovely kettle for loose leaf teas.
I love this kettle! Heats up fast, stays warm for about 30 mins before it starts cooling down. I use it for loose leaf teas and it’s perfect for that. It’s so convenient, doesn’t take up much space. Easy to stow away when not in use. I wish the was a hook or something you could place the actual plug into, it just kind of hangs out of the bottom. I have to wrap it through the handle, which is fine. Great value for the money! Quality kettle and functional.

Great tea kettle
I absolutely love this tea kettle. It is very handy. The water boils quickly and I love the infuser. I make loose leaf tea and use tea bags and I have used it to boil water since it is so quick and efficient. The infuser is bendable so it needs to be handled carefully so as not to dent it. But other than that I cannot say anything bad about this. I recommend it.

Loving this electric kettle
I grew up always having access to a kettle and I honestly forgot how convenient it was. There is only so far a microwave oven will get you when you need some boiling water. I have recently been getting back into tea, so I now have a selection of various green, black, and herbal teas. Brewing these teas using a microwave can be very inconvenient, particularly with loose herbal teas. This kettle is reasonably well-designed, although I feel that the infuser attachment could have been better thought out. The infuser works extremely well, but it attaches to the lid using a couple of relatively delicate bits of plastic and I forsee these accidentally getting broken. I really like the base and how the kettle can be rotated. The handle is comfortable and thick and you don't need to worry about your fingers touching the hot glass when you pour.I was really surprised at how quickly this kettle brings water to a boil, I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it's quicker than a microwave for the same quantity of water. When infusing teas, the temperature selection is easy and intuitive. I didn't need to check the manual to figure out the buttons, but I did check it for recommendations on the temperature to choose for some of my teas. Some of my teas require a full boil, others want a lower temperature for the best flavor extraction.I have brewed two loose herbal teas and two "bagged" teas and every single one of them turned out better than anything I have produced with the microwave - particularly with loose teas. The fine mesh of the infuser combined with the mesh in the pour spout means that the vast majority of the tea dust stays in the pot and doesn't end up in your cup.I like this pot so much, that I'm not even going to take a star for the infuser attachment design.

Worse than previous model in one key way
Overall, these electric kettles are great. They are inexpensive, heat fast, look great, and are fairly reliable. I had a previous model that lasted nearly 10 years before the sensor gave out suddenly. The one key difference is this - the previous Chefman electric kettle I had would automatically shut off after bringing the water to a boil despite the temperature not reaching 212F/100C. I live at 6,800 feet / 2,000m in Colorado, and water boils at around 204F degrees here. This model does not shut off when the water boils at a temp lower than the textbook boiling point of water at sea level. So whereas before, I could press the button and walk away, and come back in a few minutes ready to brew my tea, now I have to hang around.Furthermore, the old model had more choices for temperature settings (as low as 105F) and after I brewed my tea I could set it at a lower temp to keep it warm. This model only has settings for 175, 185, 195, 200, and 212F.

A Safe and Convenient Electric Kettle
Hello! I decided to switch to a glass electric kettle because the plastic one I was using made me concerned about environmental hormones. Honestly, I was worried it might break easily, but the base is thick and surprisingly sturdy. I’ve accidentally bumped it a few times against the water dispenser and dishes, but it hasn’t had any issues. Although it comes with a tea strainer, I removed it because washing it was a bit inconvenient, so I’m using the kettle just for boiling water. It has multiple temperature settings, and the controls are easy to use, making it super convenient. I can set it to the lowest setting when I want tea, and it heats up quickly, so I don’t have to wait long to enjoy my drink!

Great. Takes a reasonable amount of time to boil water.
I use this kettle everyday. I love the temperature adjustments and it IS faster than boiling water on the stove. However, it can take 2-3 minutes to boil a full kettle. Not sure why some reviewers say it will boil in seconds. They must only be using a small amount of water.

Done in 5 min.
The heat up is almost instantaneous. Does turn off when at temperature. It stopped to boil that is. Careful not to touch sides it is hot🔥. Handle is great. The lid is easy to open and clean the steeper comes off easily and cleans well. The taste is clean and no floaters. I would buy again.
