Works well easy to use and changes 12 batteries at once

The charger takes up very little room given its sixteen AA/AAA slots. It's a bit plasticy but the two small LCD displays - one each for the two banks of eight slots - are clear and well lit. A nice touch is that when all the batteries in one bank are charged, the backlight for that bank goes off. Each slot has its own charge circuit (PWM I presume) and display status indicator.The build quality is not the best and I think the registration of the positive and negative (especially the AAA negative) contacts is a little sloppy. This results in it failing to detect some batteries which charge perfectly well in my four slot but very bulky Vanson Speedy Box. A little fiddling with positioning the battery or bending the negative metal spring to give a better contact can sometimes fix this but still a few batteries it refuses to charge.However, as an adjunct to the Speedy Box rather than a replacement, it makes the management of the large number of NiMh AA/AAAs I have much easier.

Product is simple to use and allows for 16 batteries being charged at the same time.

Charging station is sensitive for correct placement of batteries and take bit time to make sure they are visible by the charger display

I like this charger very much, mainly because of the large number of cells that may be charged at once, even of mixed makes and types. It's not a fast charger, though, but bearing in mind it'll do sixteen at a time, which is what I need, that doesn't really matter, as it would probably take that long if a 4-battery fast charger were used successively.I would have liked it to have been able to identify possibly dodgy cells with some sort of 'flag', but it won't do that. Not a fault, as such a feature wasn't advertised.All in all, an excellent charger that does the job.

When all the AAA batteries are in it only charges 3 or 4, very temperamental no impressed and can’t be bothered returning, waste of £30
