I’ve been drinking matcha for over 5 years now and have tried many brands. This brand is excellent for the price and tastes wonderful. No bitter aftertaste and is rich and smooth. This is now my go-to brand for a few months now and is comparable to other high quality companies from Japan. I love it!

Soar Organics matcha is the only matcha I buy. So I am really loving the convience of being able to order it via Amazon. Plus it is just so difficult to find high quality pure matcha. Not to mention, Soar Organics matcha is the smoothest/best flavor profile out of all of the different matchas I have tired. Soar actually sources their matcha from Uji Japan. So cool! I find the matcha so good I do not need to add anything other then hot water to be content with my beverages. I am actually so happy with the product I have happily made the switch from coffee to only Soar Organics matcha as my only AM pick me up and in doing so have really noticed a difference in my skin and mood from all of the antioxidant health benefits!

I reached out to many organic Matcha companies and Soar was one of the few who actually responded (very quickly) with an up to date Certificate of Analysis proving their Matcha has been tested and is free of heavy metals/toxins. Matcha is great at cleaning the soil and absorbing these things so it's important to make sure you source from clean farms. They also hand wrote a thank you note which I appreciate. Also it doesn't have a bitter taste at all, it's smooth and tastes so fresh.

I’ve tried nearly a dozen different matchasand this is my go to. Amazing quality for the price. Great on its own however, my favorite is with a little almond milk. Great customer service with thoughtful hand written notes included too :) Highly recommend!

Let me start off by saying that I'm a complete newbie when it comes to matcha. My first time making this went horribly wrong. I poured a bunch of it in a glass with hot water and tried mixing it all with a spoon. It tasted bitter and chalky, I was getting ready to swear off the drink all together. But then, I actually followed the recipe on the back of the packaging for the matcha latte, and when I went online I read that I should use some sort of wooden whisk instead of a spoon to mix it. Of course, all I have is metal whisks, so I used that instead... And WOW! This drink is amazing! The umami flavor is off the charts.. So, if you're like me, a complete matcha noob, then here's some simple tips:- follow the recipe on the back for the matcha latte- use a whisk to stir it, and stir it in a zig zag pattern at various depths, and eventually it will start frothing.. Keep stirring! When it's nice and fluffy, then add the milk.I love this stuff!

Unlike higher quality matchas, this had a dull green color, was gritty when made into usucha, and was very bitter. Definitely not ceremonial grade. It did have an interesting scent when I initially blended it with some water, and there were elements of interesting flavor, so might be ok for blending.
