CAMP Photon Wire Carabiner

These are perfect. Made very well.

Great quality.use them on sport routes and trad climbs.

We use these for camping and around-the-house purposes. They work perfectly for quickly attaching ropes to trees using a webbing loop, and posts with a loop or an eye bolt. They seem plenty strong and I don't really have any practical way to test their limits. I have used one to help pull a car around in a garage, but that's only a couple hundred pounds pull to get it to move. Still, a nice product and I plan to order another set for additional camping needs. Finish is durable, gates work well. No issues.

First admission, I am not a mountain climber so I will leave my review to touch, craftsmanship and overall quality. Second admission, I primarily use these carabiners as a way to attach keys to my body or bottles to my backpack. So, I will leave the mountain climbing certification to someone who is an end user in that respect. First out of the box impression is "wow, this looks first class." The carabiner arrived with a multi page, multi language book which includes certain climbing ratings and usage advice. Pretty cool. Second, to my first initial touch and usage, this item feels as though it is a well made item. The feel of the item is that it will hold up to some abuse. I believe that is what is needed in this type of safety device. High quality just has a certain look and feel and this product has it. Finally, I would see no reason to not recommend this product, this brand and this seller. I look forward to reading reviews from end users who use this product for actual climbing and not backpacking or bike riding attachments like I am doing. No issues to report....plus the packaging from the seller was very good. Product arrived in a padded envelope. Thank you

I'm not a climber, lol. I bought these to hang lanterns around my porch. The photo shows it holding a near-weightless luci solar lamp, but of course they can handle real weight. Secure but very easy to open, which was important for me.

CAMP is a lesser known Italian brand, but makes quality gear. I like the orange, too...

Did not understand from the description, how big they are

Using this to supplement our dog leash setup on a very energetic GSP. The carabiner works as expected, feels sturdy, and we love the color.
